“SCHOOL RULES”
Цель урока: систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Школа»; тренировать детей в умении вести общение на английском языке в предлагаемых ситуациях и ролевых играх; развивать грамматические навыки употребления оборота to have to do something в речи учащихся, развитие аудитивных навыков.
Задачи урока: тренировать учащихся в употреблении знакомых лексических единиц и грамматических структур, а также разговорных выражений в монологической и диалогической речи; воспитывать чувство любви и уважения к людям.
Оборудование урока: календарь, тематические рисунки, карточки, магнитофон, аудиозапись текста “Better Late Than Never” и песни “Can You Tell Me”.
План урока
I. Сообщение темы урока.
II. Речевая зарядка. Календарь.
III. Грамматика. Оборот to have to do something.
- тренировка грамматических навыков;
- применение.
IV.Беседа по теме “School Rules”
V. Проверка домашнего задания. Диалогическая речь учащихся (использование глагола “have to”)
VI. Физкультминутка. Песня “Can You Tell Me”.
VII. Развитие навыков аудирования. /развитие умений воспринимать на слух монологическую речь носителя языка/.
- контроль понимания текста;
- совершенствование навыков пересказа.
VIII. Объяснение домашнего задания.
IX. Подведение итогов урока и выставление оценок.
Ход урока
I. T: Good morning, dear friends. I hope you are fine and ready for the lesson..
T: Today we’ll continue to discuss the topic “School rules” and we’ll learn to use the modal verb “have to”. We’ll practice using “have to” in our speech.
II. T: What is this, children?
Ps: It’s a calendar.
T: Yes, it’s a calendar. It shows us months, weeks and days. How many months are there in the year?
Ps: Twelve months.
T: That’s right. What are they?
Ps: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December.
T: Excellent! I see you know months very well. How many days are there in a week?
Ps: Seven days.
T: Can you name them?
Ps: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
T: Look at the blackboard and make words from these letters.
Who can write the words on the board?
Ann and Dima, come out to the blackboard write up the words. Who will be the winner?

III. T: Pupils, do you know the modal verbs?
Ps: Yes. They are “can”, “must”.
T: You are right. Look at the grammar gang. Today we’ll learn to use the verb “have to”. We use “have to” when somebody else other than the speaker has made the decision. Has is used with He, She, It. Have is used with I, We, You, They.
Глагол have to выражает долженствование, а именно необходимость совершить действие в силу определённых обстоятельств. Глагол have to на русский язык переводится нужно, приходится.
Open pupil’s books on page 40, exercise 1. Look at the picture.
Answer my questions.

What do they have to take in their schoolbag?
Ps: Girls have to wear a white blouse, a grey skirt and black shoes.
Ps: Boys have to wear a white shirt, grey trousers and black shoes.

Better Late Than Never
One Wednesday morning Finy Fox and Shiny Fox, the two little brothers, were walking to school. They walked slowly for 10 minutes, then Shiny said, "Be quick or we shall be late for school! It is half past eight!" But Finy said, "I don't want to go to school today. We are already late. We can have so much fun in the forest. Our mother thinks we are at school, so we can play in the forest. We can go home when we hear the boys coming home from school." Shiny said this was a good idea.
So the foxes ran to the river. What a good time they had! They laughed a lot, they swam in the river, they danced with little bears and sang songs with the birds. They got on well with all the different animals who lived in the forest. The foxes didn't think at all about their classroom, their desks, pens, pencils, their books and their lessons. Wednesday was their longest school day — they had Maths, English, Handicraft, Art and Nature Study on their timetable. All the subjects were very important. But the foxes didn't want to write on the blackboard or in their exercise books. They didn't want to study, to learn to count and to read. They didn't want to work. They wanted to play outdoors.

2. Where do they live?- They live in the forest.
That’s right. Let’s listen to the text again. Then you’ll do a short test.
