Цель: 1. Формирование общеучебных умений и навыков (самостоятельно находить необходимую информацию, анализировать, делать выводы, излагать свою точку зрения, приводить необходимые доводы и аргументы)

2. Расширение кругозора учащихся по данной теме

3. Развитие коммуникативных навыков, творческих способностей, логического мышления.

4. Воспитание бережного отношения к природе

Задачи: Тренировать употребление лексики по теме «Экология и защита окружающей среды»

Тип урока: урок закрепления знаний в виде урока-конференции.

Методы обучения, применяемые на уроке:

1. Вербальные методы: формирование теоретических и практических знаний

2. Наглядные методы: интерактивная доска

3. Методы самостоятельной работы: работа с учебником, выполнение упражнения.

Музыкальный фон. Четыре ученика по очереди читают стихотворение «Hug the Earth» ( by Lorraine Bayes).

Walking along feeling free

Feeling the earth here with me

And I love her, she loves me.

I hug the Earth, the earth hugs me.

She’s our friend,

We’d like to be together forever.

The earth is a garden.

It’s a beautiful place.

For all living creatures,

For all the human race.

Helping Mother Earth

We can peacefully roam.

We all deserve a place

We all call our home.

Food is a treasure from the soil and the sea.

Clean, fresh air from the plants and the trees.

The warmth of the sun giving life each day

Turns water into rain, it’s nature’s way.

And I would like tj thank you, Mother Earth,

I like to see you dressed in green and blue

I want to be by you.

Вступительное слово учителя:

• Today we have our conclusion lesson on the topic «Ecology». We shall discuss many important problems connected with our topic. With the help of the film you will exchange your opinions about this global problem, how to protect our Earth, how to prevent further pollution of the atmosphere, what urgent and necessary measures to undertake. Now watch the film about ecology, please. (Начиная с пятого–шестого кадра шесть учеников читают стихотворение по очереди, по две строчки каждый.)

• Just now you saw a film about the environmental situation in our country. As this problem is global, I want you to discuss it.

At the beginning of our century people meet with different difficulties. In many cases man himself because the reason of them. But nowadays a lot of politicians, scientists, ecologists and just ordinary people very often speak about ecological problems. Why? What are the most urgent ecological problems today. What people do to protect our ecology? These questions re to be answered at our lesson.

• Let’s start our talk with the information about the relationships between nature and men.(Pupils speaking introduction-2мин.)  
• So, it’s clear that people understood the importance of ecological problems and some countries make everything possible to protect and improve nature, Great Britain is one of them. Dima, will you tell us about environmental policy in Great Britain? (Pupils speaking environmental policy in Great Britain-3мин.)
• But you also know that not only governments of different countries take part in protecting ecology. People unite in ecological organizations too. Will you name some of them and give us information about these ecological organizations?( Pupils speaking ecological organizations-3мин.)
• Thank you. And it’s high time to speak about the most urgent ecological problems nowadays, we start with:

a) Global warming (2мин)

b) The next ecological problem is Acid Rain (2мин)

c)And very close to acid rain is the problem of cutting tropical rain forests (2мин)

d) We just can’t say some words about Ozone Laier (3мин)

e) There is one more important problem which is called water Pollution (3мин)

• Ok, we can’t discuss all ecological problems at our lesson, but we can summarize them pollution (oil, soil, water), nuclear pollution, testing on animals, etc.
• But you see, not only men can be the reason of ecological destruction, catastrophes (such as eruptions of volcanoes) can damage our environment too. Speak about them (2мин)
• So, as a conclusion I’d like to say that all of us can’t be indifferent to ecological problems, I want you to say your does and don’ts which we need to protect our ecology . And on the blackboard there is a list which Sergey has done. Please continue it.
