Предварительный просмотр:
9 класс
Тип урока: повторение и закрепление полученных знаний с использованием информационных технологий.
Оснащение урока: УМК, доска, мультимедийное оборудование, карточки.
Тип упражнений: упражнения с заданным механизмом выполнения, творческие задания.
Цель урока:
- Образовательные: развивать навыки монологической устной и письменной речи; активизировать ранее изученную лексику по теме «Профессия» в устной и письменной речи; умение общаться на английском языке.
- Развивающие: развивать интеллектуальные способности учащихся; развивать коммуникативной компетенции учащихся.
- Воспитательные: развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления; содействовать профориентации учащихся.
Ход урока.
I. Организационный момент. Сообщение целей урока.
Good day, boys and girls! I’m so glad to see you today. Good day dear colleagues! Welcome to our lesson. Dear boys and girls, I hope that you are fine today.
Today we are going to speak about your plans for future and your future professions. You will do some lexical exercises to improve your speech.
II. Фонетическая отработка. (отработка изученной лексики по теме «Профессия»).
Now, look at the screen and repeat after the speaker.
III. Речевая зарядка. (учащиеся отвечают на вопросы учителя).
Now, answer my questions, please.
- What professions are popular among the young people?
- What do you want to be?
- Who helped you to choose a profession?
- Do you find this profession interesting (important) and why?
- What subjects are important for your profession?
- What is the best way to prepare for any job?
- What is important in choosing a profession? Do you want to have a well-paid job or low-paid job but interesting job for your profession?
- What is your mother (father) by profession?
IV. Основной этап.
Проверка домашнего задания.
1. Your homework was to learn the dialogue about your professions. I’d like one of you to act your dialogue.
2. Now, it’s time to do our lexical exercises. The first task will be to answer the questions: Who says the following. Look at the screen, please.
Example: Why haven’t you done your homework?
Answer: A teacher.
1. That’s 10 dollars, please. Thank you.
2. Open your mouth and say “AAH!”
3. There’s a letter for you. Sign here, please.
4. I sing at theatres or concert halls. People like to listen to my songs.
5. I work at home. I look after the house, clean and wash up.
3.Let’s we’ll play a game “Guess!”
Every day many people work for us. How do they help us?
1.A gardener plants trees. 2. A photographer takes pictures. 3. A painter paints pictures. 4. A driver drives cars, buses, trams, trolley-buses. 5. A dentist looks after our teeth. 6. An actor acts in films. 7. A policeman catches criminals. 8. A writer writes books and different stories. 9. A builder builds houses for us. 10. A teacher teaches us many interesting and useful things. 11. An artist draws pictures for us. 12. An accountant controls the finances. 13. An engineer designs machines. 14. A plumber repairs taps. 15. A dressmaker makes our clothes. 16. A shoemaker mends our shoes for us. 17. A doctor cures people. He comes when we are ill and gives us medicine. 18. A carpenter makes furniture. 19. A lawyer works in a court. 20. A mechanic repairs cars. 21. A scientist does experiments. 22. A musician plays in orchestra. 23. Bakers bake bread in a bakery. 24. Barmen serve drinks in a bar. 25. Butchers prepare and sell meat in a butcher’s shop. 26. Nurses look after patients. 27. Secretaries arrange appointments, type letters and organize meetings. 28. Waiters serve people food and drink.
4. You have said that there is a great variety of jobs. And some of them are very popular in our country. Now say what qualities do you think are necessary for any profession?
Example: A teacher should be … (etc.)
5. Summing it up I’d like to say many roads are open before you. The most important thing is to work well. The English proverb goes “He works best who knows his trade.” But it is a mistake to think that all your work is in future. Try to take an active part in life now. There are many proverbs to do with work. Have a look at proverbs and explain how you understand this or that proverb.
A bad workman blames his tools.

A careless or unskilled person blames his tools to excuse himself for bad work, while it is his own carelessness or lak of skill which is really to blame.
Jack if all trades master of done.
Джек на все руки мастер , а ни одним мастерством не владеет.
(За все браться ничего не делать)
A person who works at many trades never becomes really expert at any one of them. If is better to be really skilful at one trade than to have small knowledge of many.
