                              Урок английского языка в 7 классе

Тема: «Спорт»

Цели урока  

Обучающие:

                     - формирование  знаний лексического  материала по теме;

                     - расширение эрудиции учащихся;

                     - обучение умению вести диалог.

 Развивающие:

                     -  развитие познавательных интересов школьников;

                     -  развитие  навыков аудирования;

                     -  развитие языковой догадки и речевой наблюдательности;            

                     -  совершенствование  навыков неподготовленной речи.

 Воспитывающие:    

                      - воспитание у учащихся положительного отношения к занятиям спортом ,    

                      - пропаганда здорового образа жизни.

 Средства обучения:   ТСО.

 Тип урока:  урок - диспут

                                                       Ход урока

1.Знакомство с темой урока. Вводно -мотивационный этап

(На доске – пословица”Health is above wealth” и афоризм “There are a lot of people in  this world who spend so much time watching their health that they haven't time to enjoy it.” Billings, an American writer, 1818-1885) Звучит песня ”Try Something Different”.( См. Приложение к учебнику “Spotlight 7”

Учащиеся отвечают на вопрос “What is the role of Health  in our life?”

2. Аудирование в формате ГИА

You will hear five teenagers discussing the problem of going in for sport. They give different reasons for and against it. Choose from the list A-F what each one says about it. Use the letter only once. There is one extra letter which you do not need to use.

A. It teaches you about life.

B. It helps you to meet people.

C. It is not necessary to become a professional sportsman.

D. It makes people become rivals.

E. It makes you unhappy and causes a lot of injures.

F. It helps to relax.

6. Работа в парах.  Представьте, что вы решили заняться спортом, но ваш друг против этого. Попытайтесь его убедить. (Try to persuade your partner that sport is necessary for his/her health ).

7. Подведение итогов занятия.  Домашнее задание.

Thus, sport is very important in our life. It helps us to stay in good shape, to keep fit and to be healthy. It makes people strong , fast and agile. Sport builds our character, it teaches us to overcome difficulties.

You needn't be a professional sportsman to be healthy. Some people jog every morning, some follow fitness classes shown on TV. Young people usually put on their roller-blades and skate in the streets and parks. Such sports are really good for our health.

Your home task will be:

To  find information about famous sportsmen and say why you admire them.

Speaker 1

What reason can I give for sport? I play in our school football team. It is a good to meet people and to make new friends.

Speaker 2

In my opinion sport takes a lot of energy. It causes a lot of injures. Sport makes you unhappy when you lose. And after all, it turns you off studying.

Speaker 3

Sport helps me to relax and to keep fit after a hard working day. It helps to work off my extra energy. To have a healthy mind you must have a healthy  body.

Speaker 4

Sport builds character. It teaches you to be disciplined and organized in our daily activities. It teaches you to lose and to win. Sport makes men out of boys

Speaker 5

I prefer to watch sports competitions rather than take part in sports. To be healthy it is not necessary to become a professional sportsman. I go in for sports just for pleasure, when I have free time.
