Тема “Let’s talk about weather” (Давайте поговорим о погоде)

Цель урока: обобщающее повторение, развитие устойчивых навыков употребления в речи лексики и грамматики по теме.

Задачи:

Воспитательные – умению общаться, учить обмениваться знаниями и умениями.

Образовательные – накопление и расширение лексического запаса, практика речевых умений:

- развитие произносительно - интонационных навыков.
- совершенствование навыков устной речи ( монологической и диалогической ).
- развивать творческие способности учащихся;

Развивающие – развивать познавательный интерес к изучению окружающего мира, к культуре разных стран, расширять возможности памяти и мышления.

Оборудование:

1. Музыка Вивальди “Времена года”
2. Компьютер
3. Раздаточный материал

Ход урока:

Greetings (Приветствие): How are you? And you? Are you all right? I am…today. I think it’s because of the weather. Do you like today’s weather? Why? By the way, what season is it now? What seasons do you know? What is your favourite season? What season do you like (adore)? What season do you hate (dislike)? Can you guess what we are going to talk about? (Слайд №1)

2. План урока
Do you like to play games, sing songs, draw, make up sentences? We’ll
practice our skills in speaking and reading, listening and writing. I wish you to be calm and to work well. (Слайд №2)

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

But firstly let’s train our tongues to make them work well at the lesson.

Repeat after me this short poem. Who wants to read it alone? (Слайд №3)

4. Look at the screen. Can you recognize these seasons? (Слайд №4)

5. You know that there are different weather conditions in different seasons. Let’s name some of them. (Слайд №5)

6. Now students look at the screen and repeat after me the words. Do you know all of them? Tell

me, please, what weather can be in different seasons? (Слайд №6)

7. Do you like to play games? It’s great. Let’s play a game then. This game is very popular and is known as “Crocodile”. You have only weather-words. Your task is to show the word without saying anything. Other children should guess the word.

8. Now I want to divide you into three groups (three teams). Each group has one main word (snow, rain, sun). Your task is to make up from them as many words as you can.

9. Do you like to sing songs? It’s cool. Let’s sing our favorite song about weather. (Слайд №7)

10. Students, how do you usually learn what the weather will be? Your home task was to find some weather signs and to draw them. Are you ready? It’s great. We’ll make a short exhibition of your pictures. (Слайд №8,9)

11. But we are not always good at weather signs. Today we usually listen to weather forecasts.

Who can tell what weather will be in Moscow, New-York and Paris? (Слайды №10,11,12,13)

12. We are going to listen to one funny forecast. It’s funny, because it’s a song. It’s a Russian song and your task is to translate it from Russian into English. (песня “Прогноз погоды” дискотека Авария)(Слайд №14)

13. Проектная работа. Класс делится на четыре группы. Каждая группа получает задание создать проект на тему “Самый лучший день весны (лета, осени, зимы)” и описать его устно. Детям раздаются листы ватмана, карандаши, клей, цветная бумага, вырезки из журналов на тему “Погода”. Во время работы звучит музыка Вивальди “Времена года”.

14. Подведение итогов урока, выставление оценок ученикам и учителю.
