Тема: «Путешествие в Лондон»        

Форма проведения: Нетрадиционная форма урока. Урок - виртуальная экскурсия.

Класс-6         

Тип урока: Обобщение и систематизация.

УМК: М.З. Биболетова, Н.Н. Трубанева  « «Enjoy English-5-6»,Обнинск,Титул,2014г.

Цель: обобщение изученного материала по теме “Лондон”; совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической речи, активизация лексических  навыков; активизация познавательной деятельности учащихся в изучении английского языка, повышение мотивации изучения языка,  воспитание любознательности и толерантности; приобщение учащихся к культуре англоговорящих стран в рамках темы. 

Задачи: 

• Образовательные: обобщить и расширить знания учащихся о столице Великобритании, обычаях и традициях страны, их общий и лингвистический кругозор, пробудить интерес к стране изучаемого языка: истории, культуре Великобритании, повысить уровень языковой компетентности, формировать навыки аудирования,  говорения, извлечения информации из медиатекста, совершенствовать коммуникативные навыки.
• Развивающие: развивать у учащихся интерес к изучению английского языка; углублять познавательные мотивы; развивать эмоциональную сферу учащихся и их актёрские способности; развивать внимание, память.
• Практические: развивать у учащихся умения монологической и диалогической речи, спонтанного перевода в ситуации, приближенной к естественной; активизировать употребление лексики по теме “Путешествие”; развивать умение выступать публично с подготовленным устным сообщением на заданную тему.
• Воспитательные: формировать у учащихся уважение и интерес к культуре и народу Великобритании и потребность в практическом использовании английского языка в социально-культурной сфере; воспитывать культуру общения.

Ожидаемые результаты:

- активизировать деятельность учащихся;

 -повысить мотивацию изучения английского языка;

-формировать элементы информационной культуры;.

-развить творческий подход к изучаемому материалу;

-совершенствовать навыки монологической и диалогической речи, аудирования.

Опережающее Д/З.   1. Познакомиться с сайтами, содержащими информацию о Лондоне.

                                     2. Выбранные на роль экскурсоводов учащиеся ( 2 уч-ся ) готовят свои сообщения о достопримечательностях Лондона, остальные учащиеся в парах готовят диалоги о достопримечательностях Лондоне. /материалы о Лондоне на следующих образовательных сайтах:   www.school.edu.ru , ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/ London UK. 

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning!

Pupils:   Good morning (poem)

Teacher: I am glad to see you!

               How are you?

Pupils:   I am  fine, thank you

2. Объявление целей урока.

Teacher:  Have you ever been to London? 

Pupils:    No, I haven’t. / I’ve never been to London.

Teacher:   Would you like to go to London?

Pupils:    Yes, sure.

Teacher:  Today we have an unusual lesson. Today we will go to London together.

3.Основная часть урока:

(звучит голос пилота самолёта)

-Good morning everyone, this is your captain speaking. I would like to welcome you abroad…

Guide 1- Dear Friends!!  Let me introduce myself, my name is Mary!

Guide 2- My name is Kate!

Guide 1- We are your guides during your stay in London! You are welcome to London!

Guide 1 -London is the capital of the Great Britain. It's one of the largest cities in the world.  London is  situated on the river Thames. The city is very old and beautiful. There are hundreds of historic buildings, galleries and museums. Most museums are free. There are parks, over 80 theatres and even more cinemas.

Guide 2- When a man is tired  of  London  he is tired of life.  This saying is now very well  known but it is still true

P1:- Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to Trafalgar Square?

P2-Oh, it is very easy. Can you see that wide street over there?

P1:-Yes, I can.

P2:-Good. Go along that street and it will lead you to Trafalgar Square.

P1:-Thank you very much

P2:-You are welcome. Have a nice day.

Guide 1- Trafalgar Square is in the centre of London. It is named in memory of Admiral Nelson’s

victory in the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. A statue of Lord Nelson stands on a high column

in the middle of the Square. The column is guarded by four bronze lions.

Guide 1:Trafalgar Square is a place where different meetings take place. The main building of Trafalgar Square is the National Gallery. As far as entrance to the gallery is free, a great many tourists try to visit the museum twice.

P3:- Excuse me, I am looking for the Tower of London. Can you tell me where it is, please.

P4:-It is just in front of you! Look!

P3:- Thank  you very much.

P4:-Not at all.

Guide 1- - The Tower of London is the oldest palace in Europe, it was a fortress and a prison.  The Tower of London is the museum now You can see the Tower of London from the river Thames.  This place has a long and cruel' history. It isn't just one building. It has a history of blood – the blood of men, women and children. Now the Kings and the Queens of Britain don't live there.

Guide 2 Nowadays the Tower of London has a different role that of guarding the Crown Jewels,

which are kept in the Jewel house at the Tower. Visitors can also enjoy the company of ravens that wander about the Tower grounds. They are an impressive sight to see. The legend says that if they fly away, Britain will fall, that’s why ravens’ wings are cut.

P5:-Excuse me, am I far from the Houses of Parliament?

P6:- I am afraid you are.

P5:-How can I get there?

P6:- It is very easy. Take bus No 24 and you will be there in ten minutes.

P5:Thank you very much.

P6:You are welcome. Have a nice day.

Guide 1- The Houses of Parliament stand beside the river Thames. The country's leaders speak at this place. The men and women there are the voice of the British people. The famous clock

 Big Ben stands near them.Big Ben is the name of the main bell in London,  which began to work in 1859.

P7:-Have you ever been to Buckingham Palace?

P8:-No, I have never been there.

P7:It worth visiting.Come on.

P8:-Id love to.

Guide 1-Buckingham Palace is the place where British kings and queens live when they are in London.When the Queen is inside you can see the flag over it. Important visitors often go to this place. They meet Queen Elizabeth and the royal family there. Guide 1 A lot of tourists go to visit this place They stand outside and see the Changing of the Guard Tourists are allowed to visit the

Guide 1 Westminster Abbey is a symbol of England. Westminster Abbey, is a large, mainly Gothic church, in Westminster. Westminster Abbey was built by King Edward in 1065. The

coronation of all British Kings and Queens takes place in Westminster Abbey.  

P11:---Excuse me, can you tell me where the airport is?

P12:-No, I am afraid I can t. You d better ask a policemen.

Guide 1Our visit to London has finished. We hope very much that you have enjoyed our tour of London.
