Предмет: английский язык в 9 классе по теме «shopping» к УМК «Happy English. Ru» автор – Кауфман.
Данный урок является логическим продолжением серии уроков, посвященных общей теме: поход в магазин одежды.
Цели данного урока: научить применять разговорные клише по теме «В магазине»;
- закрепить знания по грамматике (Перевод прямой речи в косвенную);
- развитие навыков работы в парах.

Shopping.
Цели: - научить применять разговорные клише по теме «В магазине»;
- закрепить знания по грамматике (Перевод прямой речи в косвенную);
- развитие навыков работы в парах.
Ход урока:
1 Орг. момент:
Good morning, students. I'm glad to see you. Well, let's start. As a rule, we start our lesson with my typical questions, but today I have only two questions: I
want to know: at first, who's absent and what did you do at home? We'll
check you homework during the lesson, because it will help us to understand new material.
2 Нацеливание:
Look at the blackboard. You can see caps, dresses, gloves, shoes; also you can read conversation bricks (Can I help you? Do you need another size? How much is it? What make do you prefer? What size are you?...) Try to answer, what is the topic of our lesson?.. .Well, you are right; today we are going to speak about shopping. And what do you think about it? Do you like it? Why and why not?....
As you can understand people can't live without shopping. We must buy some food every day; we must buy warm clothes, because the winter is going to be very cold, or may be we want to buy trainers, because we have plan to go camping. In other words our topic is very important.
3 Основной этап урока:
а) развитие умений применять на практике разговорные клише:
So do you know conversation bricks between a customer and a shop assistant?
Call them all, please.
Прокручиваем разговорные клише: Can I help you? Does it fit? Is it my colour?
Does this skirt go with this blouse? It suits you. Do you need another size? How
much is it? What make do you prefer? What size are you? It's too big on me. Would
you like to try it on? I'll take it. It's a bit small. I'll have a look. Where is the fitting
room?...
Our next task: read the dialogue for detail and say what happened to Rob. Try
to guess why he had a problem.
(в ходе чтения ребята сталкиваются с тем, что в странах есть свой размерный
ряд, что необходимо учитывать при покупке того или иного изделия).

For example, if my Russian size is 37 and I want to buy sandals, I mustn't forget
that my size in the USA is 4, but in the UK it is 3 and a half.
Vasya, let's imagine you want to buy a waterproof jacket for your sister and her
Russian size is 40, call me her sizes in the USA, in the UK.
(подобные задания можно проделать несколько раз; тем самым повторив
лексику по теме «одежда», повторив числительные и закрепив навыки
ориентирования по размерной таблице).
And now I think you are ready to do next task: make up a dialogue from these phrases:
- My Russian size is 41. | ||
- What size do you wear? | ||
- Ok. Your US size is 8. Here you are. | ||
^ - How do they feel? | ||
May I try them on? | ||
- Sure. | ||
- Ok. Let me have a look. | ||
- We do, but they are another make. | ||
- I'd like to buy a pair of trainers. | ||
- I'm afraid they are too big. Do you have | a smaller size? | |

As you know, the topic of our lesson is Shopping. Let's imagine you are customers and shop assistants. Try to make up short conversation in the shop; work in pairs.
d) повторение грамматического материала (правила перевода прямой речи в косвенную):
Your work is very good, I can note you are ready to buy something and speak with a shop assistant. But we mustn't forget about grammar rules, (фронтальный опрос)
- What is direct speech?
- What is reported speech?
- Call the sentences in direct and reported speech.
- What rules should we know when we say phrases in reported speech? (учитель с учениками обговаривает правила перевода прямой речи в косвенную для утверждений, приказаний, просьб, запретов, вопросов).
Let's check our knowledge: say these phrases in reported speech:
- Rob says to Emily, "I like jeans from Calvin Klein."
- Rob says to Misha, "Don't pay much attention to image."
- The shop assistant says to the customer, "Leave our shop!"
- The shop assistant asks Rob, "Can I help you?"
Если рамки урока позволяют, можно предложить следующее задание: Find mistakes:
- The doctor says Mary don't eat a lot of sweets.
- Pete asks me if what our homework is.
- Rob says, that he prefer baggy T-shirts.
