ОТКРЫТЫЙ УРОК ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ В 10 КЛАССЕ

ТЕМА: « RUSSIA: political system,

                                     the first persons,

                                             the national symbols.»

Цель: создать условия для формирования следующих компетенций:

-коммуникативной : умение использовать лексический и грамматический материал  во всех видах речевой деятельности в рамках темы, доносить его до аудитории, умение работать в группах, в  парах

-учебно-познавательной: умение работать с текстом, творчески его перерабатывать, находить заданную информацию, составлять схемы и конспекты, развивать навыки аудирования

-информационной: способность к самостоятельному отбору необходимой информации

-социо-культурной: воспитывать чувство патриотизма и  гордости за свою страну

 Teacher : We have begun our lesson with the song  about our country, our native  land. Now look at the blackboard and read the poem after me:

             You may choose a friend and a brother,

              But you can never choose your native land.

              You may choose everything in the world,

               But you can never choose your MOTHERLAND.

Речевая зарядка (активизация лексики)

Teacher : What does the word  MOTHERLAND mean to you?

                 Is this word dear to you?

                 Are you proud of your  MOTHERLAND?

                  Do you agree with this poem?

                  How old are you?

                  What does this document  mean?

                  What is the official name of our country?

Teacher : We have already spoken a lot about our country, but one topic is left. What is it? (ученики высказывают предположения) That’s right –it is political system.     Слайд 3 (тема урока)              

So, the topic of our lesson is: « RUSSIA: political system, the first persons,  the national symbols.»

Open your note-books and write down the date and the topic.

Teacher : So, let’s start our work. First of all answer my question:

-Are you interested in politics? And you?

Some of you are interested in  politics, some are not, but I think it is very important to know all sides of life of your country. Do you agree?

Your main document  is your passport .

 And what is the main document of our country ?

 What is constitution? When was it adopted?

Teacher : This day is the birthday of our country. On that day the constitution was adopted  and our country was set up. Write it down in your note-books.

Teacher:  Read the text and answer the questions in your note-books. Work in pairs.

Who elects the President?

How long is his presidential term?

What are his duties?  

Все работают в парах, а один ученик на доске.

The President is elected directly by the people.

His presidential term lasts 4 years.

His duties: he controls all the three branches of power; the president is commander-in -chief of the armed forces, he makes treaties and enforces laws, appoints the Рrime- minister, cabinet ministers and key judges; the President can even dissolve the Duma if it does not agree with his suggestions three times running.

Teacher: You know that each state has its own  symbols. The girls are ready to present us their project «The national symbols of Russia» Listen to them and make notes.

Teacher: Governmental policy is the theme of many aphorisms.  Now look at the blackboard,  read and translate them:

Political system of Russia

  The Russian Federation is a Presidential republic.

  The President is the head of the state and is elected directly by the people for a 6 year term. In fact he has much power, he controls all the three branches of power.

The president is commander-in -chief of the armed forces, he makes treaties, and enforces laws, appoints the Рrime- minister, cabinet ministers and key judges. The President can even dissolve the Duma if it does not agree with his suggestions three times running. The President and his Administration is not a part of the Federal Government.

  The Federal Assembly represents the legislative branch of power. It’s made up of   two houses: the Federation Council and the Duma, which make laws. The Federal Assembly is also called the Parliament, but it’s not its official name. Both houses are headed by chairmen, sometimes called speakers. The Duma consists of 450 deputies. In the Federation Council there are 2 representatives from each federal subject (89 subjects). To become a law a bill must be approved by both houses and signed by the President.

  The Federal Government represents the executive branch of power. It consists of the Chairman of the Government (the Prime-minister) and ministers.

  The judicial branch is represented by the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court and regional courts. The Constitutional Court analyzes the new laws to make sure they correspond to the laws of the state. It has the right to declare actions of the President, the Federal Assembly and the Federal Government unconstitutional. The Supreme Court is the highest instance for civil and criminal cases.

  The state symbols of Russia are the flag, the hymn and the national emblem. The flag has three stripes: white, red, blue. The hymn of Russia is created by Alexandrov and Mikhalkov. The national emblem is a two-headed eagle.
