Steps

Timing and interaction pattern

  1. Introduction: Ask students what they think about childhood/ what they don’t like about it.  What they used to be in their childhood. Put some of their ideas on the board.

2. Hand out the lyrics. Explain that Ss should work individually, read the lyrics of the song and reassemble it. Set the time limit.

  1. Pair the students and ask them to compare their answers.
  2. Play the song once and ask Ss to make changes if necessary.

  1. Explain to the Ss what a value is. Ask them to find the examples of values in the text.

  1. Group Ss in groups of 4. Explain the task:
  • draw  an imaginary place/world of a childhood,
  • think and write 4-5 values that represent your imaginary world of a childhood (family, gadgets, emotions, friends, resentments, etc)
  • get ready to present your world to the others.

Work in pairs. Think and write 4-5 values that represent your imaginary world of a childhood (family, gadgets, emotions, friends, resentments, etc ) D raw an imaginary place/world of a childhood (paper/file/ autodraw ). Present to the group.
