Конспект урока английского языка в 5 классе

по теме “Animals”.

Цели урока: систематизация лексико-грамматических знаний по теме “Animals”, развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся.

Задачи урока:

Образовательная:

• активизировать употребление лексики по теме;

Развивающая:

• развивать речевые умения и навыки, навыки аудирования учащихся;

Воспитательная:

• воспитывать чувство любви к животным, умение слушать других, работать в группах.

УУД:

Личностные:

• формировать мотивационную основу учебной деятельности;
• формировать коммуникативную компетентность в общении и сотрудничестве со сверстниками;

Коммуникативные:

• развивать умение взаимодействовать с окружающими, выполняя разные социальные роли осознанно строить речевые высказывания в соответствии с задачами коммуникации, контроль, коррекция и оценка действия партнера, соблюдение простейших норм речевого этикета

Регулятивные:

• принимать и сохранять цели и задачи учебной деятельности, находить средства ее осуществления, уметь работать индивидуально, парно и в группе

Познавательные:

• вести диалог-расспрос, умение организовывать учебное сотрудничество и совместную деятельность с учителем и сверстниками.

Ход урока:

I. Организационный момент.

T.: Good morning girls and boys! How are you?

Today we have an unusual lesson. To know the topic of the lesson you should complete the crossword. Listen to me and finish the rhymes.

1. Кто вчера съел мой омлет?

   Он воришка – это ……. cat.

2. В зоопарке обезьянки,

    Обезьяна – это ……. monkey.

3. Свинья есть хочет каждый миг,

    Свинью мы называем ……. pig.

4. Где только не был

    Верблюд ……. camel.

    Слон, слоненок …… elephant.

6.Тюлень своих детей просил: «Меня вы называйте ……. seal.

7. Трудный вам задам вопрос: «Как назвали лошадь? – horse.

 What is the topic of our lesson?

Right you are. The topic of our lesson is “Animals. Учащиеся делятся на три группы и занимают места за столами в соответствии с названиями своих групп (Wild animals, Farm animals, Pets).

II. Фонетическая зарядка.

Now let`s train our tongues! Look at the screen, listen to the announcer and pronounce the rhyme after him.

Little monkey in the tree

III.Речевая зарядка.

T: What kind of animals are monkeys? So, let`s complete the spidegram!

What kinds of animals do you know? (wild, domestic, pets).

What are wild animals?

What are domestic animals?

What are pets?

What wild animals do you know? Name five wild animals, please! Where do wild animals live?

Name five farm animals, please! Where do farm animals live?

Name five pets, please! Where do pets live?

IV. Активизация лексики.

1. I`m sure toy like to play different games. Let`s play the game “Guess”! I`ll describe animals and you should guess and name them.

1). It can be very terrible and aggressive. It likes to eat meat and fish. It`s very wild. It lives in water. It is long and green. What animal is it? (crocodile)

2). It has a sweet tooth. It can swim very well but it lives in the forest. It likes to eat honey. (bear)

3). It is a nice and cunning animal. It lives in the forest. It likes to eat mice, rabbits and other small animals. (fox)

4). It is a beautiful strong animal. It is the king of jungle. It has a big mane. (lion)

5). It lives in the trees. It can climb and jump very well. It can be big or small. It is funny and clever. It likes bananas very much. (monkey)

6). This animal is very unusual one. It can`t walk, run and fly. It can only jump. It lives in Australia. (kangaroo)

7). This animal doesn`t eat meat. In our country it lives in the zoo. It has got long legs, a long tail and a long neck. (giraffe)

8). This animal is cute and soft, but it is wild. Its name means “no water”. It can swim and climb very well. (koala)

This animal has a long neck and long legs. It can live without water for three weeks. It has got a hump with fat in it on its back. (camel)

10). This animal has got a big body and lives on a farm.it can run but it can`t jump. It gives us milk. (cow)

2. Make-up sentences.

T:  Every group will get an envelope. Put the words in the correct order to make full sentences. Read the sentences and answer the questions.

V. Аудирование.

T: Do you like animals? What is your favourite animal? Why?

Have you got a pet? What pet have you got? Would you like to have a pet? What pet would you like to have? Why?

Listen to the dialogue and say what Tina`s favourite animal is. Meanwhile toy listen to the dialogue you should complete the fact file. Look at the screen!

How big it is – the size

What it looks like – the appearance

What it eats – food

How it gets food – hunts, fishes, catches

Interesting facts – something new, unknown

Listen to the dialogue! Answer my questions.

• Where do tigers come from?
• Where do they live?
• How big are tigers?
• What does the tiger look like?
• What do the tigers eat?
• How much do the tigers weigh?
• Can they be pets? Why?
• What interesting facts about tigers did you hear?

Look at the fact file and tell us about tigers. р. P1, P2.

VI. Физкультминутка.

You did a good job! It`s time to have a little rest and play. Please, stand up! Imagine and show you`re -  a tall giraffe

VII. Защита проектов.

T: You`ve prepared projects about animals. It`s time to present them!

Meanwhile a group presents its project the other two groups should complete the fact files.

As you see everybody needs love. Ira wants to recite a poem “I like all kinds of animals”.

VIII. Рефлексия.

Well, today you`ve presented your projects. You`ve done a lot of work. I liked your work at the lesson. I want to know if you liked the lesson. There are fish of different colours on my table. If you liked the lesson, take green fish. If you liked the lesson but not very much, take blue fish. And if you didn`t like the lesson at all, take red fish. Show me your fish. Let`s sing a song “Amazing Creatures”!
