Ход урока.

1. Организационный момент.  Приветствие. (слайд №1)

- Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you. Welcome to English lesson! How are you today?

- Fine, thanks.

- Sit down, please. I’m fine too. If you are ready, let’s begin our lesson.

2. Фонетическая зарядка. Мотивация. Объявление темы урока.

- Today we are going to have a very interesting lesson.

At the beginning of our lesson let’s look at the screen. Видео «мотивация к спорту»(слайд №2)

Now think and answer: what is this lesson about?  What is the theme? (Ответы учащихся).

        You are right. The theme is “Sportin our life”. I offer you to have a lesson in a form of game. What do you think we are going to do today? Today we’ll revise the material of previous lessons, speak about sport in your life and find out new information and of course play.You know that sport plays a great role in our life. Let’s look at the poem:

Sport is fun for girls and boys

It’s much better than the toys

You can run and you can jump

You can have a lot of fun.

Do you agree with me? Then stand up and do the exercises with a nice boy!

3.Основнойэтапурока

Teacher: So, today we havetwo groups which names are connected with the topic “Sport”. The first group is called TO DO SPORT and the second is called TO WATCH SPORT.(Учащиесяподеленынадвегруппы)

Our game willconsist of five parts. (Слайд3) For each part every group gets some points. The team that gets more points at the end of the lesson gets 5. Are the rules clear for you?

1.“Limbering - up”.

Teacher: Let’s begin our game. The first task is “Limbering - up”. (Слайд 5) What is this? (рисунокмяча) Yes, you are right. It is a ball. Can you name the sports games with the word “ball”? (Учащиесяназываютсловасословом “ball”: baseball, basketball, football, handball, motor ball, netball, softball, volleyball) All together! (Учащиесяхоромповторяютслова)

Now finish my sentences, please: All in all I like to play (to watch)… Mindthestressandrhythmwhilesaying. (Учитель произносит фразу, дети добавляют слово из списка; затем один из учащихся повторяет фразу, а следующий учащийся – слово и т. д., последний повторяет всю фразу со всеми словами)

Now I name you the sport and you say me your attitude to it? Назовите виды спорта, выразите своё отношение к ним.

I like …                    I’m fond of…         I’m crazy about…     I’m good at….

I don’t like…            I’m hopeless at…

In a circle throw the ball to each other. When you catch the ball, name a sport.

2.“Quiz”(Слайд 6)

Teacher: The second task is a “Quiz”. It consists of four sectors. Each part has a number of questions. You choose the sector (sport, place, person or equipment), take a question and answer it. If you don’t know the answer – the other team has the right to answer. (Слайд 7)

The sector “Sport” contains the names of different kinds of sport. In the sector “Person” you should name a person doing this or that kind of sport. In the sector “Place” there are places where you can do a particular kind of sport. And in the sector “Equipment” you should enumerate necessary for the sport I name you. Is it clear?

  4. It is played on a court. There are 5 players on each team. They try to shoot the ball into the hoop. (Basketball)
  5. It is the oldest sport existed even in Saxon times. It is very popular in many countries. (Boxing)

  5. What do you need to play rugby? (An oval ball, two gates)

Teacher:Pretend that you are at the Olympics and you are a great sportsman. Mime any kind of sport you like and the others will try to understand what kind of sport you are showing to us. (каждый ученик изображает тот вид спорта, который ему больше нравится, остальные отгадывают, что он показывает)

3.“Openthebrackets” Грамматическаязарядка.(Слайд 8)

Teacher: The next task is “Open the brackets”. Each team has a sheet of paper with some facts about the history of sport. You must open the brackets and write the sentences using Present Perfect Passive or Past Simple Passive. Then we will correct your works.

  2. The “Spartak” Club was founded (to found) in 1935.
  3. Rugby has been organized (to organize) all over Britain since 1845.
  4. The anthem has been played (to play) at the opening and closing ceremonies since 1958.
  5. The first Olympic Games in the southern hemisphere were held (to hold) in 1956.

1.Teacher: The next task of our competition is called “Dominoes”. Each team has some cards with different kinds of sport. You must assemble Dominoes very quickly. Who is the fastest? (Учащиеся собирают из карточек цепочку домино)

 Children, what character traits should a good sportsman have? Let’s play now! I’ll call you some of them. When you hear character traits, which a good sportsman should have, clap your hands!

Teacher: ambitious, brave, boastful, careless, hard-working, impolite, patient, organized, lazy, self-confident, serious, relaxed, smart, skillful, forgetful

5.“Captain’sdialogueДиалогическаяречь. (Слайд 18)

Teacher: Well, very well. And the last part of our competition is the “Captain’s dialogue”.  Children, do you have Sport days at school. Let’s look at the screen.(видео)Your home task for today was to prepare a conversation about “School sport day”. One captain was ill and didn’t take part in the Sport Day. He is calling his friend to get the news about it. These words and word combinations you must use in your dialogue in correct form: (Слайд 19)

  • to take part.

Teacher: Captains, come here! We listen to you

Children, do you like our lesson today. Let’s look at the board. If you like our lesson, take a happy sportsman. If you don’t like the lesson take a sad man.
