Демоверсия устного переводного экзамена по английскому языку в 8 классе 2018-19гг

Задание 1 – чтение вслух небольшого текста научно-популярного характера. Время на подготовку 1,5 минуты.  Максимальное количество баллов 2.

Task 1. You are going to read the text aloud. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, and then be ready to read it aloud. Remember that you will not have more than 2 minutes for reading aloud.

Recycling is a technology that helps protect the environment and cut down on usage of raw materials. The steel, paper and glass industries recycle a lot. The largest recycler is the steel industry. It recovers more than 70 per cent of its original materials. For example, since 1988 they have produced the majority of new metal cans from old ones. Metal parts for cars and planes are other examples of recycling steel. Fragments of waste glass are widely used in construction. For producing writing paper and pens, used packing boxes are an ideal material. They are cheap and easy to recycle. Nowadays more and more recycling centres are appearing in our towns and cities.

Задание 2 – условный диалог-расспрос: учащийся должен ответить на шесть вопросов. На каждый вопрос отводится 40 секунд. Максимальное количество баллов 6.

• what kind of extreme sports people can do in your region
• what dangers people can face when they do extreme sports

• what most important inventions and famous inventors you know
• what modern devices you find really useful and why
• how different types of transport have changed the world

• what kinds of mass media there are popular in the world and why
• whether media resources influence people’s look at the world
• what your favourite media resource is, and why

Task 3. You are going to give a talk about today’s global problem. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10-12 sentences).

Remember to say:

• how many global problems exist on our planet Earth
• which global problem you find most threatening and why
• why people worry about ecological destruction and pollution

Task 3. You are going to give a talk about famous people. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10-12 sentences).

Remember to say:

• what famous people you know
• what English famous person you know and why he/she is famous for
• what outstanding Russian person you remember and why he/she is well-known
