The 1st situation.

Student A. This is your hotel room as you left it when you went out this morning.

Student B is telephoning you from the hotel to tell you that your room has been burgled.

Student A. Describe to Student B where your possessions were and find out what has been stolen.

The 2nd situation.

You have been asked to write a report of

• the theft for the local police,
• personal information,
• date and time of the theft,
• list of the stolen items,
• description the stolen items,
•  what you think of the hotel,
• who might have stolen the items.

IV. The final stage of the lesson

Presentation of the results of the groups.

1 group presents results of tasks by types of crimes and their descriptions, answers to questions. Dialogue.

2 group presents on the media board a picture of the crime and tell their assumptions about the stolen things in the hotel. Dialogue.
