Этапы учебного занятия

I. Организационный момент

• T. Good – morning, I am glad to see you. (P. Good – morning, I am glad to see you too.)
• T. How are you today? P. I am OK.

II. Актуализация знаний

T. Have you ever been detectives? (P. No).

T. Would you like to be detectives today? (P. Yes).

T. Today we will be detectives and help the police discover criminal plans of a certain Mr. Do you know Mr. Big? He is a great boss. He has his own gang.

III. Фонетическая зарядка

Before we start our investigation and tell the police about his plans we must revise some words.

IV. Основная часть.

T. Open your books on page 56. What is the theme of our today’s lesson?

P. Mr. Big makes plans.

T. We have a telephone conversation between Mr. Big and his gang.  Let’s listen (listen please)

(Учащиеся прослушивают текст один раз).

T. Now look at the picture and follow the text.

(Включается текст 2 раз, учащиеся следят по тексту).

T. Now answer my questions please.

- What does Mr. Big wants to do? (P. Mr. Big wants to steal the capsule).

- What word does Mr. Big use to give his orders? (P. He uses “Must” to give his orders).

Please, try to find out what are we going to do at the lesson (P. We must tell the police about his plans and stop him).

T. Good for you. Ok start. I give you 3 minutes to read ex.1 on page 56-57.

(Учащиеся читают текст).

T. To make orders Mr. Big uses the word must. Look at the smart board and read the rule. (Учащиеся читают правило вслух).

The first task for young detectives.

Mr. Big sent an e-mail to his gang but virus damaged the file and some words were missed.

You must read the e-mail and fill in the missing words. (Учащиеся выполняют карточку и зачитывают правильные варианты ответа).

Della, you       …       travel with Jane to Florida.

Della, you    ….       lose the capsule.

Dirk, you     ….     meet the plane at the airport.

Dirk, you     ….       steal the capsule at the airport.

Ted and Dave, you   ….   get inside the Institute. You ….  find out what’s happening there.  

Now we must tell the police about Mr. Big conversation and his e-mail.

Look ex.2. Make dialogues between the characters of the story. Work in pairs. We have Mr. Big and Della, Mr. Big and Dirk, Mr. Big and Ted, Big and Dave.

T. We have another work to do my young detectives. Mr. Big s gang had a meeting at a hotel last month.  To make our work better we must divide into 4 groups. Under your desks you have cards of different colours. They are the colours of teams.

In your cards you see the place in our classroom where you can find evidences.

T. One of you must read the text. One of you is a gang you must tell us why the police couldn’t find you. And one of you must tell us why the police couldn’t find him/her.

Purple

1. You must read:  Meet me in the lobby. I am going to wear a big red moustache and a grey hat. (Dirk)

2. You must talk as in an example: I am Dirk. The police couldn’t find me because I was wearing a big red moustache and a grey hat.

3. You must talk as in an example: The police couldn’t find Dirk because he was wearing a big red moustache and a grey hat.

White

1. You must read:  Meet me at ten o’clock.  I am going to wear a long black beard and a black wig. (Jane)

2. You must talk as in an example: I am Jane. The police couldn’t find me because I was wearing a long black beard and a black wig.

3. You must talk as in an example: The police couldn’t find Jane because she was wearing a long black beard and a black wig.

Red

1. You must read:  See you on Thursday.  I am going to wear a blond wig and dark glasses. (Della)

2. You must talk as in an example: I am Della. The police couldn’t find me because I was wearing a blond wig and dark glasses.

3. You must talk as in an example: The police couldn’t find Della because she was wearing a blond wig and dark glasses.

Green

1. You must read:  We will be there. Ted is going to wear a black moustache and a false nose. Dave is going to wear a curly red beard and a long white coat. (Ted and Dave)

2. You must talk as in an example: I am Ted. The police couldn’t find me because I was wearing a black moustache and a false nose.

I am Dave. The police couldn’t find me because I was wearing a curly red beard and a long white coat.

3. You must talk as in an example: The police couldn’t find Ted because he was wearing a black moustache and a false nose.

The police couldn’t find Dave because he was wearing a curly red beard and a long white coat.
