At you on cards  the name of the countries. Tell, how it is better to reach them? Let's read names of the countries. Look at a map.    I will show these countries. Great Britain, France, Germany, Italia, U.S.A., Australia, Egypt, India, Japan,  China.

We have talked how it is possible to reach to the different countries. And now let's read dialogue about a trip to Sochi by train.

Ann: Have you ever traveled by train?

Jim: Yes, I have.

 Ann:Where did you go?

Jim: I  was in Sochi.

Ann: Who went together with you?

Jim:my mother.

Ann:You liked travel, didn’t you?

Jim:Yes, very much

Ann: What did you see from a window of a train during travel?

 Jim: I saw the blue sky, the sun, woods, fields, the sea, people.

 Ann:Where has the train stopped?

 Jim: It has stopped at station.

 Ann: is It comfortable to travel by train or not?

Jim: The travel by train is very comfortable.

 Ann:Who drivers the train?

Jim:The engine-driver drivers the train.

Travelling

Modern life is impossible without travelling. Thousands of people travel every day on business or for pleasure. They can travel by air, by train, by sea or by road.

Travelling by air is the fastest and the most comfortable, but is the most expensive too.

Travelling by train is slower than by plane, but has its advantages. You don’t have to wait for hours at the airport with thousands of other passengers. You just go to the station a few minutes before the train leaves, buy a ticket, get on train and the journey begins.

You can look at things through the windows, have a sleep, read a book or go for a walk up and down the train. There is usually someone interesting to talk to and when you get hungry, you can eat your food. If you didn’t bring any food with you, there’s often a restaurant or a small cafe on the train where you can buy some food and a drink.

You can see many interesting places of the counter while on a train. Also modern trains have very comfortable seats. Speed, comfort and safety are the main advantages of trains and plains. That is why many people prefer them to all means of transport.

Travelling by sea is very popular. On board the ship you can enjoy your trip. There are tennis and badminton courts, a swimming-pool, a cinema and a dancing hall there. When you travel by ferry you can see the rise and fall of the waves, feel the fresh sea wind blowing in the face and hear the cry of the seagulls.

Many people like to travel by car. It is interesting, because you can see many things in a short time. It’s convenient, because you needn't reserve tour tickets. You can stop when and where you like, you do not have to buy tickets or carry your suitcases.

A very popular method of travelling is hiking. It is travelling on foot. Walking tours are very interesting. Hitch-hiking is a very popular method of travelling among young people. But it is not so popular in our country as abroad.

Almost all people are fond of travelling. It is very interesting to see new places, another towns and countries. Travelling helps people to learn the country better, to know about customs and traditions of different places, to meet people and make friends with them.
