Обобщающий урок английского языка в 7 классе по теме «Друзья» учителя английского языка Нечаевой Л.В.

Цели урока:

         - активизировать изученную ранее тематическую  лексику;

         - развивать  умения аудирования и чтения;

         - развивать умения монологической речи по теме;

         - развивать творческий потенциал в самостоятельной работе над темой.

Оборудование: компьютер, CD, тематические картинки.

Ход урока.

1. Оргмомент.  Good afternoon! Glad to see you! How are you?
2. Основная часть.

1. Введение в тему.Warming up.

Today we’ll speak about friends. Our life is boring if we don’t have friends.

What words and word expressions are associated with a word “Friends”?

                                                friendship

Share secrets and troubles                               help through thick and thin

                                                  Friends                        give a helping hand

Have the same hobby

                                                understand each other

      2. Развитие навыков аудирования.

I want you to listen to the poem by Tracy Durch. She is a schoolgirl from England.

         Friends are people who share.

         Friends are people who care.

         They try to understand.

         They give a helping hand.

What does she think about good friends?

Do you think Tracy is right? As for me, I agree with this girl.

Of cause, sometimes we have problems with our friends: we quarrel for books, films, but make it up quickly.

       3.  Развитие навыков чтения.

1) Read and translate the sayings about friendship. Find the sayings with the main idea: A friend will stand by you.

1. Life without friendship is like the sky without sun.
2. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
3. The best mirror is an old friend.
4. Every person is a new door to a different world.
5. A friend is the one who walks in, when others walk out.

2) By the way, how many friends have you got? Well, I see. Some of you have a lot of friends, the other have only one friend. Let’s read the text about Joe’s friend and answer the questions.

Laura is my best friend. We spend a lot of time together, Laura and I. I know Laura's likes and dislikes very well. I never ask her to do things or to go to places she doesn't like.

We follow each other everywhere. We share secrets and troubles with one another. I'm sure we wouldn't share our secrets with many other people.

We like to go out together, just two of us, especially to buy clothes. When Laura says that a thing makes me look silly, I never buy it. She dresses so nicely and her opinion is very important to me.

We have the same interests. I like reading and she likes reading. I enjoy listening to pop music and she enjoys listening to pop music. Laura always helps me when I feel unhappy or lonely and I help her, too.

A lot of friends take a lot of time. We are just two, Laura and I, and we are happy.
