Пояснительная  записка

Методическая разработка «Грамматические упражнения по теме «Present Simple» предназначена для обучающихся по специальности  29.01.29 « Мастер столярного и мебельного производства» в качестве практического пособия для систематизации знаний по теме «Present Simple».Большой объем заданий позволит систематизировать и активизировать знания обучающихся по данной теме. Упражнения выстроены в следующем порядке:

1 блок

1-5 - упражнения на образование утвердительной и отрицательной формы;

 6 – 12 - упражнения на образование вопросительной формы: ( 6,7 – общий вопрос, 8-12 – специальный вопрос ;

13-14 лексико – грамматические упражнения;

15-18 переводные;

19-20 упражнения на уровне связного текста;

2 блок

Грамматические упражнения на уровне говорения. Где обучающиеся применяют свои грамматические навыки в речи и работают в командах.

3 блок

Задание на применение грамматического материала в письменной речи.

Представленные упражнения имеют различный уровень сложности: Задания повышенного уровня сложности обозначены  знаком «*».

Exercise 1. Open the brackets, put the verbs into the Present Simple.

1. Their friends seldom (to go) for a walk in the yard.
2. My mother usually (to dress) at eight o'clock.
3. I sometimes (to wash up) at a quarter to five.
4. Ben and Dan often (to play) chess in the evening.
5. My father usually (to go) to the stadium on Sundays.

8. She sometimes (to have) dinner at a quarter to four.
9. They seldom (to get up) at eight o'clock.

Exercise 2. Open the brackets, put the verbs into the Present Simple.

Exercise 3. Open the brackets, put the verbs into the Present Simple.

Exercise 4. Open the brackets, put the verbs into the Present Simple.

Exercise 5. Write sentences as in the example.

Oral Activity 1.

The teacher divides the class into two teams and chooses a leader. Then he/she whispers into the leader's ear "I watch TV". The teams in turn try to guess what the teacher does by asking the leader questions. The teacher invites the students to look at the list of activities given below for some ideas.

The students must guess the answer after only 10 questions. If nobody guesses correctly, the game is a draw. The teacher chooses another leader and you play the game again.

Oral Activity 2.

Students in teams say what they don`t like. When one student leaves something out his/her team doesn`t get a point. Play the game as follows.

You can play the game again, this time inviting your students to say what they like.

Writing  Activity 1.

Write about a typical in your life.
