(Вводная фраза) the most outstanding person should be ( characteristics). I  would recommend to choose ( the name) because he/she was a (profession) and (his/her deeds).

A physicist, a composer, a politician, a cosmonaut / an astronaut, a sportsman,  

a writer, a teacher, a founder, a soldier, a singer, an inventor, a traveler, a chemist, a scientist, a seaman, a businessman, a painter, a poet, a journalist, a wonder-worker, a human rights activist.

• Helped people, cured people, advised people,
• Was a designer of the Soviet atomic, hydrogen bomb,
• Wrote poems, books,
• Acted well, starred in films,
• Trained hard, won competitions and championships…
• Received awards, was awarded,
• Taught/graduated/ prepared many worth students

Saint Seraphim of Sarov was a Russian monk who lived at the Sarov Monastery in the 18th century, He was a wonder-worker. Many thousands of people from all parts of our country came to him to ask for help and cure. Everyone saw St. Seraphim as honest, joyful, sincere and modest. To many he advised: "Acquire a peaceful spirit, and around you thousands will be saved." Now Saint Seraphim of Sarov is known all over the world. (Ганеева, Аксенова)

Yulii Borisovich Khariton was a Soviet physicist working in the field of nuclear power. He was the chief designer of the Soviet atomic bomb, and stayed with the Soviet nuclear program for many years. Andrei Dmitrievich Sakharov  was an outstanding Soviet nuclear physicist, dissident and human rights activist. Sakharov was an advocate of civil liberties and reforms in the Soviet Union. He was three times Hero of Socialist Labor and he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1975. (Максимов)

Igor Vasilyevich Kurchatov was a Soviet nuclear physicist. Under his direction, the Soviet Union tested its first nuclear bomb. For this reason he is remembered as "The Father of the Soviet Atomic Bomb". He was a talented, clever, hard working, outstanding scientist. (Сидоров Трухманова)

Oleg Taktarov is a famous Russian sportsman and actor. He trained hard and practiced Sambo and Judo was 6 times champion. Then he retired became an actor and starred in many American and Russian films. (Тюрин)

My uncle Vladimir Tugushev is a sportsman. He practices shooting. He is skillful, hard working, strong, and famous that’s why he is the champion of Europe and the world. I want to be like my uncle. (Миронов)
