ПЛАН-КОНСПЕКТ ОТКРЫТОГО УРОКА В 6 КЛАССЕ

НА ТЕМУ: "BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN LONDON"

Методическая цель: использование инновационных технологий при

изучении английского языка

Оснащение урока: раздаточный материал с текстами, видеоролик "Best places to visit in London", презентация Power Point, компьютер, проектор, экран.

Задачи:

1.Образовательная: знакомство со знаменитыми местами Лондона.

2.Практическая: отрабатывать фонетические навыки в названиях  достопримечательностей; показать умение работы с текстом; тренировать грамматический материал (Present Simple) в устной речи по теме « Погода», «Достопримечательности Лондона»; тренировать навыки поискового чтения.

3.Развивающая: развивать навыки устной речи; навыки поискового чтения.

4.Воспитательная: воспитывать толерантное отношение к чужой культуре; прививать интерес к культуре изучаемого языка; формировать навыки самостоятельного труда; формировать умение работать в парах.

ХОД УРОКА:

I. Организационный момент.

--Приветствие

Good morning. I’m glad to see you. Good morning our dear guests! Welcome to our lesson!  My name is Margarita Vladimirovna.

- Sit down, please. How are you today? I’m happy that you are well. In the same great mood, I invite you in our trip. Let's remember this date...

        -Will you tell me what’s the date?

Pupil 1: Today is the 9 th of December.

        -You are absolutely right.

        -Who can tell me what day of the week is today?

Pupil 2: Today is Tuesday.

        -Right you are. Thanks.

 Today, we are going to travel along beautiful place.

В)   -   What type of tense did we use?

      - Yes, you are right we used Present Simple. Let's remember, when we use it:

We use the present simple to talk about things in general. We are not thinking only about now. We use it to say that something happens all the time or repeatedly, or that something is true in general. It is not important whether the action is happening at the time of speaking:

"The earth goes round the sun"

"Nurses look after patients in hospitals"

Big Ben

The name Big Ben is often used to describe the tower, the clock and the bell but the name was first given to the Great Bell.

The Elizabeth Tower, which stands at the north end of the Houses of Parliament, was completed (завершен) in 1859 and the Great Clock started on 31 May, with the Great Bell's strikes (ударять) heard for the first time on 11 July and the quarter bells first chimed (бой курантов) on 7 September. Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in London, and one of the Royal Parks of London, famous for its Speakers' Corner. The park has become a traditional location for mass demonstrations (традиционное место проведения  массовых демонстраций). 

The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London.( Одно из крупнейших колёс обозрения, расположенное в лондонском районе на южном берегу Темзы.) Also known as the Millennium Wheel (Колесо тысячелетия), its official name was originally the British Airways London Eye, then the Merlin Entertainments (Развлечение Мерлина) London Eye, between January 2011 and August 2014, the EDF Energy London Eye and is now called the London Eye. Tower Bridge (built 1886–1894) is a combined bascule (подъемное крыло)  and suspension bridge (висячий мост) in London which crosses the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, from which it takes its name, and has become an iconic symbol (культовый символ) of London. (When was the Tower Bridge build?)

Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms. These include 19 State rooms, 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms. In measurements, the building is 108 metres long across the front, 120 metres deep (including the central quadrangle) and 24 metres high. (What kind of rooms you can see in Buckingham Palace?)

The Tower of London

The Tower of London is one of the most imposing (впечатляющий)  and popular of London's historical sites. It comprises (составляет) not one, but 20 towers. The oldest of which, the White Tower, dates back to the ll th century and the time of William the Conqueror (Завоеватель). Nowadays a lot of tourists visit the Tower of London, because of the Tower's evil reputation as a prison. The Tower is famous as home of the Crown Jewels (защиты короны). Today they can be viewed in their new jewel (драгоценный, ювелирный) house. They include the Crown of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother which contains (включает в себя) the celebrated (знаменитый) Indian diamond. (How many towers comprise the Tower of London?)

Trafalgar Square (/ˌtrəˈfælɡər/ trə-fal-gər) is a public space and tourist attraction (достопримечательность)  in central London, built around the area formerly(раньше) known as Charing Cross (Чаринг-Кросс). It is situated in the City of Westminster. At its centre is Nelson's Column, which is guarded (охраняемый) by four lion statues at its base. There are a number of commemorative [kə'mem(ə)rətɪv] (мемориальная) statues and sculptures in the square, while one plinth [plɪnθ] (постамент), left empty since it was built in 1840, The Fourth Plinth, has been host to contemporary (сщвременного)  art since 1999. The British Museum is a museum in London dedicated (посвященный)to human history and culture. Its permanent (постоянная) collection, numbering some 8 million works,  is among the largest and most comprehensive(всестороннее)  in existence (бытие)  and originates (берет свое начало)  from all continents, illustrating and documenting the story of human culture from its beginnings to the present. The National Gallery is an art museum in Trafalgar Square in London. Founded in 1824, it houses a collection of over 2,300 paintings dating (известное) from the mid-13th century to 1900. The Gallery is an exempt charity, and a non-departmental public body of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Its collection belongs to the public of the United Kingdom and entry to the main collection is free of charge. It is the fourth most visited art museum in the world, after the Musée du Louvre, the British Museum, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  (When the National Gallery was founded?)

Piccadilly Circus is a road junction (соединение дорог) and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster, built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with Piccadilly. In this context (В этом контексте), a circus, from the Latin word meaning "circle", is a round open space at a street junction (объединение). (Where is Piccadilly Circus is located?- Где расположен цирк Пиккадилли?)
