УРОК ПО АНГЛИЙСКОМУ ЯЗЫКУ В 8  КЛАССЕ

ПО УМК « АНГЛИЙСКИЙ В ФОКУСЕ» ПО ТЕМЕ «WORK AND JOBS».

PLAN:  

1Greeting:-Good morning, children! Glad to see you! How are you?

-Fine , thank you.

2-Let’s start our lesson.  As you remember, our last talk was about different fields of science, inventors and inventions and about learning different subjects.

So, I want you to recall the fields of sciences and name them.

 Please, look at the screen and find the hidden names of the fields of sciences ( natural science, social science, applied science) and name their definitions .(on the slide).

Now tell me what fields of science these subjects refer to , which you are interested in and why

( subjects on the screen).

3 So, we can say that we need to study different subjects to apply them in our future occupation and job.

And  our today’s talk  is about  work and jobs.

Look at the screen. You can see 4 people. What are they all doing? ( They are doing some work).

What does each person do for a living? Choose from the list given (jobs). Start your sentence  like this:

“ I tnink, Steve is a..”  “ Bill might be a…”because we can  not say for sure.

Now,  answer , what  a person  should study to become a ..(  look a at the names of jobs on the screen).

Start  like this: “ You should study….to become…”

4What other jobs and professions do you know and what would you like to do for a living?

Start  like this: “ I”d like to become a…”

5Now let us practice using new words on the topic.

-  First look , read , find the translation of the words in the WORD LIST and complete the sentences of ex.2

- Now listen and check yourselves.

-Read the sentences, study them and translate into Russian.

Now, close your books and translate my sentences from Russian into English, using the new words.

6 Use  the words from ex.2  to talk about your parents’ jobs. First read the given example.

7 -Complete the dialogue  ( ex.3) with questions A-F. Two questions don’t match.

-Listen and check.  Read in pairs aloud.

8 Homework: learn the dialogue by heart.

9 Marks.
