II Проверка знаний лексики по теме: «The environment»

Учащиеся соотносят слова с их переводом.

OK, let`s start our lesson.  Today we get ready for the test of the Unit 4 «Nothing is forever». And first of all we must revise our vocabulary.  Look at the screen. Match the words and expressions with their translations (слайд № ):

1. Повторение грамматических тем раздела.

(Словообразование, употребление артикля the, приставка re- и ее значение, конструкция used to) на слайдах.

Учащиеся вставляют слова в пропуски (повторение лексики по теме: «Окружающая среда»)

2. Ex. A p.62 (притча)

Учащиеся выполняют задание на понимание текста:

1-продолжить предложения

2-ответить на вопросы

3-правдиво или неправдиво утверждение

(индивидуальная работа)

3. Ex. 9, 10 p.65

Учащиеся выполняют задание на повторение словообразования. (Парная работа, учащиеся проверяют и  оценивают работы друг друга)

d) Найди ошибку. Упражнение на раздаточном материале. Индивидуальная работа. Учащиеся находят ошибки и исправляют неправдивые утверждения.

5. Ex. C p.66.

Учащиеся переводят предложения с русского на английский язык. Фронтальная работа.

Today we’ll speak about our planet. We’ll try to discuss the most important problem: «How can we protect our environment from litter?».

Also we will revise our grammar.

So, at first we will do exercises.

Open your textbooks on page 61 ex. 6

1. Look at the pictures and fill in the gaps.

1. Four men came to the forest by car.
2. The men cut down the trees for their campfire
3. The men killed the fish with dynamite.
4. They washed the car in the river.
5. The men didn`t pick up their litter and left campfire.

2. Ex. A p.62 (притча)

Once there was a wise old man. He could answer any question in the world. Everybody knew about him.

One day two boys said, “We are going to fool that old man. We catch a bird, go to the old man and say,

“We are holding something in our hands. Is it alive or is it dead?” If he says, “Dead”, we will let the bird fly, and if he says, “Alive”, we will kill it.”

They caught a bird and they carried it to the old man and they said, “We are holding   something in our hands. Is it alive or is it dead?”  And the wise old man looked at the young people and smiled. “It`s in your hands,”

he said.  

OK. Please name this story.
