THE FINNAL LESSON FOR THE TOPIC “YOUTH IN THE MODERN WORLD”

Тема урока: обобщение и систематизация знаний учащихся по теме урока с мультимедийным сопровождением.

Вид нестандартного урока: телемост

Цели урока:

ОБУЧАЮЩИЕ:

- совершенствовать лингвистическую и речевую компетенцию во всех видах речевой деятельности, путём обобщения единичных знаний по теме в систему;

- совершенствование языковой компетенции (систематизация ранее изученного материала);

РАЗВИВАЮЩИЕ:

- развивать языковые, интеллектуальные и познавательные способности учеников;

- обеспечить расширение межпредметных компетенций (общего кругозора и связи изучаемого с явлениями и процессами реального мира);

- развивать воображение при моделировании ситуаций общения.

ВОСПИТАТЕЛЬНЫЕ:

- воспитание культуры и потребности в практическом использовании языка в различных сферах жизни;

- формирование у учащихся основных мировоззренческих идей;

- воспитание и развитие толерантности и самооценки.

ЗАДАЧИ:

1. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи с наглядной опорой;

2. Совершенствование навыков ведения дискуссии;

3. Совершенствование навыков аудирования с целью извлечения конкретной информации;

4. Совершенствование навыков ознакомительного чтения;

5. Совершенствование навыков выполнения задания с элементами моделирования.

ХОД УРОКА

I) ОРГАНИЗАЦИОННЫЙ МОМЕНТ.

Teacher: Good morning boys and girls! Sit down, please. Who is away today?

Let’s start our lesson. *слайд 1*

Entering the class you’ve got the badges with two flags on them – the Russian flag and the British flag. Join the group according to the flag of your badge.

Teacher: Today we have an unusual lesson. *слайд 2* You are the participants of the TV Bridge between Russia and Britain that is why we have two groups. The pupils with the Russian flag represent Russia and the pupils with the British flag represent Britain.

II) ЦЕЛЕПОЛАГАНИЕ.

Teacher: This year is proclaimed as the Year of Youth in our country so the topic of our TV Bridge is “Is it easy to be young?” *слайд 3*. For my work I meet a lot of young people from different countries and there are a lot of questions concerning youth that always come up. So I want you to discuss some of these questions during our TV Bridge.

III) СИСТЕМАТИЗАЦИЯ ЗНАНИЙ УЧАЩИХСЯ ПО ТЕМЕ.

1. Актуализация знаний учащихся по изученной лексике (проверка домашнего задания)

Teacher: Let’s stat our discussion with the brain storm. At home you had to study the articles from CRC *слайд 4* which 20th anniversary we are going to celebrate in November. First of all, check up how you know these Rights. Write down the Children Rights which are proclaimed by the United Nations Convention. *слайд 5* (с пустыми графами)

(Ученики в группах пишут слова на карточках, а затем зачитывают их вслух, одновременно с чтением заполняем графы *слайд 5*)

The rights: to non-discrimination, to life, to name and nationality at birth, to express their views, to privacy, to meet other people, to protection, to health and health care, to information, to education, to  development, to leisure.

2. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи с наглядной опорой.

Teacher: So you can see how many your rights you have known. Now, let’s discuss your rights. Look at the screen and say what you think about the rights proclaimed by the UN Convention *слайд 6*

 (если учащиеся затрудняются комментировать права ребёнка, можно задать следующие вопросы)

What do you think about the right to life?

Is the Convention useful or useless? Why?

What are the most important rights?

Compare the rights of Russian and British children.

(по 2-3 представителя от каждой группы высказывают мнение о конвенции)

3. Совершенствование навыков ведения дискуссии

Teacher: Let’s have a debate. Most of the rights you have depend on your age and are determined by the law. So I want each group to answer the following questions:  What defines the things you are allowed or forbidden to do?  On the screen you can see some useful words and phrases.  *слайд 7*

Все учащиеся участвуют в обсуждении (представители каждой страны рассказывают об особенностях своих законов).

4. Совершенствование навыков аудирования.

Teacher: The following question to answer is what is a teenager?  Officially a teenager is anyone aged from 13 to 19 inclusive. But according to “the older generation” a teenager is anyone who is lazy, rude, who spends all the time listening to awful music. And all the teen ever thinks about is parties, drugs and sex. Well, that’s how the story goes. But is it anywhere near the truth? Let’s see. And first of all, let’s listen to the description of a typical American teenager from the radio program.  What teen’s problems does the speaker speak about? Complete the card which you have on your table. (смотри приложение 2)

Teacher: Name the problems besides you can see them on the screen. *слайд 8*

                       6) Совершенствование навыков ознакомительного чтения.

Teacher: We’ve named some problems, but there are some more of them, besides we have spare places on the screen. To complete them each group has to read the article from the teenager’s magazines and represents us the youth problems of the article.

 Учащиеся читают статьи (смотри приложение 3) по группам, учитель контролирует чтение, во время чтения боле сильные учащиеся помогают менее сильным, также ученики имеют возможность пользоваться электронным словарём. После окончания чтения представители групп называют молодежные проблемы, описанные в статьях.

Teacher: Please add some problems to our screen table *слайд 8*(заполняем последние графы). And choose the title for the article. *слайд 9*

Все учащиеся принимают участие в выполнении  задания.

Teacher:  Do you have the same problems? What problems worry young people in your country? To answer use the questions on the screen *слайд 10*.

Представители «разных стран» высказывают своё мнение со зрительной опорой.

            7) Выполнение проектного задания с элементами моделирования

Teacher:  As the participants of the TV Bridge we should answer “Is it easy to be young?” let’s make a leaflet with your answers. Work in your groups and design a leaflet on these sheets of paper. Show your leaflet to the other group and prove it.

Каждой группе даётся заготовка листовки; учащиеся рисуют картинки и пишут лозунги. Затем каждая группа представляет макет своей листовки.

 IV. ОБОБЩЕНИЕ ЗНАНИЙ УЧАЩХСЯ ПО ТЕМЕ.

Teacher: It’s time to sum up our discussion let’s make up the resolution of our TV Bridge. What does growing up mean to you? Share your opinion with your friends. *слайд 11*

V) ПОДВЕДЕНИЕ ИТОГОВ УРОКА

Teacher: Our TV Bridge is over. I’m very pleased with your work at the lesson as you’ve tried your best all of you receive the certificate of a participant of the TV Bridge.*слайд 12*

VI) ИНФОРМАЦИЯ О ДОМАШНЕМ ЗАДАНИИ И ИНСТРУКТАЖ О ЕГО ВЫПОЛНЕНИИ.

Teacher: During the lesson we’ve discussed the youth problems in Russia and the UK but I’m sure you know from the Internet, TV about the youth life in other countries. So your homework for the next lesson is to find information about the youth problems in the developing countries. Do they have the same problems as you have? Brain storm the ideas how to help the youth to cope with different problems. We are going to discuss these questions at the next lesson. *слайд 13*

Teacher:  As we see teenagers, like every person, have problems. But I think that problem is the result of the activity of human mind. Nothing will come of nothing. I think that without problems our life will be boring. Moreover, when people start to cope with different problems they become stronger and more experienced. And in the conclusion let me give some pieces of advice to all teenagers: *слайд 14*

Be yourself! Love yourself! Believe in yourself! If you want to be happy for life, love what you do! Life is what you make of it!
