План-конспект урока иностранного языка на 1 курсе

Тема урока: “Pronouns”

Задачи урока.

1. Введение материала по теме “Pronouns”.
2. Научить применять изученный лексический материал по теме в речи, используя, полученные знания о культуре страны изучаемого языка.
3. Развитие умения преодолевать трудности, связанные с использованием нового грамматического материала;
4. Развитие иноязычных речевых механизмов зрительного и слухового восприятия, выбора и комбинирования; развитие логического мышления, памяти, догадки; развитие умения правильно подбирать материал для решения коммуникативной задачи;
5. Формирование умения работать в группах, самостоятельно, формирование положительной мотивации к изучению иностранного языка, воспитание толерантного отношения друг к другу.

Оборудование: карточки с заданиями, мультимедийный проектор, презентация Power Point, аудиозапись песни “We are the champions”.

Данный урок является уроком развития грамматических навыков студентов, повторяется и закрепляется материал, изученный в курсе школьной программы. Для более прочного усвоения используются различные методы и приемы работы: дедуктивный метод, обучение в сотрудничестве, групповой метод. Подготовлены слайды для наглядного восприятия материала и вариативности восприятия. Раздаточный материал позволяет контролировать уровень усвоения в сочетании с элементами взаимопроверки по ключам и фронтально. Использование аудиозаписи развивает навыки аудирования и приобщает студентов к культуре стран изучаемого языка.

1. Greetings.

• Good day, children.
• What’s the weather like today? Use the words from the table.

• Is it cool and wet or warm and sunny? Do you like it?
• Ok, and what about yesterday? What was the weather yesterday?  Do you know the weather forecast for tomorrow?

2. Introducing the topic.

• Today we are going to speak about pronouns. What’s the Russian for “pronouns”? When do we use them? Вместо чего они используются?

1. Working with the personal pronouns

• The first kind of pronouns is Personal pronouns – личные местоимения.
• There are 2 groups of personal pronouns: Nominative pronouns and Object pronouns. Look at the slide. TheNominative pronouns are: I, you, he / she / it, we, they. Эти местоимения выступают как подлежащее и стоят в именительном падеже.

• Let’s do the task all together. Look at the slide. You are to choose one of these pronouns, which is necessary (студенты выбирают соответствующее местоимение исходя из картинки).
• Now, look at these sentences and find pronouns here.

• Эти местоимения стоят в Объектном падеже и могут являться дополнением. Look at the slide. Они имеют вот такие формы: me, you, him, her, it, us, you, and them.
• Now let’s do the task. You are to transform sentences with personal pronouns into the sentences with Object pronouns. Do it in pairs.

Example, I see John every day. – I see him every day.

• I know Linda.
• She lives with her father.
• I usually see my parents on Sunday.
• I can’t remember your e-mail address.
• Can you book (заказать) a table for my friend and me?

• Let’s check. Exchange your works.
• Put marks.

2. Working with the possessive pronouns

• Let’s speak about possessive pronouns – притяжательные местоимения. Can you find them in these sentences on the slide?

• There are 2 groups of possessive pronouns. Pronouns of the 1st group are called possessive adjectives and they are my, your, her, his, its, our, your, their. They are called possessive adjectives. Do you know why? (Because we use them before nouns. Pronoun + noun.)
• You are to complete sentences with Possessive adjectives. Look at the slide.

1. I’m Italian. … family is from Rome.
2. You are in the first level. …. Classroom is here.
3. He’s the Director of studies. … is Michael.
4. She’s your teacher. … name is Lucy.
5. We are an international school. … students are from different countries.

• The pronouns of the 2nd group are called possessive pronouns or absolute pronouns, because we use these pronouns without nouns. They are mine, yours, hers, his, ours, yours, theirs.
• Look at the example.

This room will be mine, and that room will be yours. – Эта комната будет моей, а та – твоей.
His report is more interesting than ours. – Его доклад более интересный, чем наш.

• So, let’s do the task. Cross out the wrong word. Look at the example.
• This is my/mine son, David. - This is my son, David.

1) A. Are these your/ yours keys?

B. No, these are him/his.

2) A. She’s French and her/hers husband is British.

B. Their/theirs children speak French and British.

3) A. I can’t find my/mine mobile.

B. Is this your/yours?

4) A. Whose car is that?

B. It’s not our/ours. Our/ours car is in the garage.

• Let’s check. Exchange your papers with your neighbour.

3. Working with a song

• Now you are to listen to the song “We are the champions” and to fill in the missing pronouns.

4. Working with the reflexive pronouns

• Look at these sentences. Find the pronouns here.

• She has cut herself. – Она порезалась.
• I work for myself. – Я работаю на себя.  
• They will solve their problems themselves. – Они сами решат свои проблемы.

• These pronouns are called Reflexive – возвратные местоимения. Возвратные местоимения показывают, что действие, называемое в предложении, направлено на лицо, которое его выполняет, следовательно, возвратное местоимение должно быть по форме соотнесено с подлежащим.
• Let’s try to use them. Fill in the necessary pronouns.

• He knows it ____ .
• Jane is able to do it ____ .
• Bring back the textbook. I need it ____ .
• Boys, I’m leaving. Finish the work by ____ .
• We shall do everything ____ .
• Go there and you’ll see everything for ____ .

• Let’s fill the gaps with personal or reflexive pronouns all together. Look at the slide.
