Открытый  урок  по английскому языку в 7 классе

 Тема: «Do you have an example to follow? The first cosmonaut».

«Есть ли у тебя пример для подражания? Первый космонавт».

Цели и задачи урока: Знакомство с новыми лексическими единицами. Закрепление пройденного материала. Развитие навыков  чтения, говорения, письма и аудирования.  Развитие коммуникативных навыков. Совершенствование навыков использования в устной речи Present Perfect, Past Perfect, Past Simple, общих и специальных вопросов.

 Оборудование: УМК  К. Кауфман  М. Кауфман «Happy English. ru 7», тексты для ознакомительного чтения, карточки с грамматическими и лексическими заданиями, карточки с заданиями по аудированию текста, мультимедийный проектор, презентация.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент.

   Приветствие. Good afternoon, children! How are you? Who is on duty today? Who is absent? What day is it today? What season is it now?

   Today we are going to speak about the famous people in our country and in the   world. (Слайд 2)

2. Работа с лексическими единицами. (Слайд 3)

 Now, children, look at the sheets of paper on your desks. First of all I want you to listen and repeat the new words and use them in word combinations.

 Учащиеся прослушивают слова, повторяют их за диктором и составляют словосочетания с ними.

 1.Cosmonaut – космонавт

2.curious – любопытный

3.jack of all trades – мастер на все руки

4. make by hands – мастерить

5. famous – известный

6. space – космос

7.achievement – достижение

3. Работа с текстами.

That’s very well. Now , take the sheets of paper with the texts and look at the first text, the title of which is «Space exploration». Let’s read and translate it.  Приложение 1

Учащиеся читают текст и отвечают на вопросы учителя.

T. Well done, children. But we have another text which is devoted to the first Russian cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. Let’s read it.

Учащиеся задают вопросы друг другу.

4. Yura was an active and curious boy ,wasn’t he?

Учащиеся просматривают презентацию  и отвечают на них, используя материал презентации. (Слайд 4)

3. He entered a school for pilots, didn’t he?

4. Who flew into space on the 12th of April, 1961?

Рассказы учащихся о некоторых выдающихся людях мира.

T. That’s very well, but we mustn’t forget about some other outstanding people. Some of them you know very well. Let’s say some words about them.

Учащиеся рассказывают о матери Терезе, М. Ломоносове, Б. Гейтсе. В. Уолисе. (Слайд 2)

5.Работа с лексико – грамматическими упражнениями.

T. Thank you, children. And now I want to suggest you some exercises.

Учащимся предлагаются карточки, которые они заполняют известным материалом. (  приложение 2). Проверка правильности выполнения задания производится при помощи мультепроектора.

Далее учащимся предлагаются грамматические задания на употребление изученных времён: Past Simple, Present Perfect, Past Perftct.

Space Exploration

Mankind always dreamed of overcoming gravitation and reaching other planets. But it was only in 1960es that this dream was to become reality.

   On the 12th of April 1961 the spaceship «Vostok» was launched into space with a man on board and after orbiting our planet successfully returned to the Earth. The first man to overcome gravitation and orbit the Earth was Yuri Gagarin.

            This day went down in history of mankind as an outstanding achievement, opening the space era. In the course of space exploration there have been lots of achievements of world science and technology. This period saw the launching of many satellites, numerous space laboratories. Among the achievements we may enumerate the landing of automatic station on the Moon, the flight of space laboratories towards Venus and Mars.

               There are the years of manned space flight programs: Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman – cosmonaut to make space flight, A.A. Leonov  achieved the first «space walk», the first Soviet experimental station with four cosmonauts on board went into orbit, and the first American expedition launched the Moon.

              The Soviet «Lunokhod», automatic orbital stations «Soyuz» and other space

laboratories opened up a new period of space exploration. From the first experiments scientists went over systematic exploration of space.

             There is a direct link between the development of space research programs

and different earth technologies.

                                         Yuri Gagarin

                                         ( 1934 – 1968)

Yuri Gagarin was the first cosmonaut in the world. Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin was born on the 9th of March, 1934. He was born in the village of Klushino in the Smolensk region.

           Yura was an active, brave and curious boy. His father was jack of all trades and

He helped his son when Yura made toy planes by hand. But the war began, Yuri Gagarin and his mother, father, brother and sister left their house and had to live in a dug – out.

           After the war Gagarin’s family moved to Gzhatsk. Now it is Gagarin. It was named after the first cosmonaut.

            In 1951 Gagarin graduated from a vocational school in Lyubertsy near Moscow. Yuri Gagarin attended an aero club and began to fly when he was a student of a

technical secondary school in Saratov.

           In 1955 he entered a school for pilots. Then he became a pilot and joined the first group of cosmonauts.

           In 1960 Gagarin began to prepare for the flight into space.

        On April 12, 1961 Yuri Gagarin fiew into space and spent 108 minutes there. It was the first time in history that the Russian spaceship “Vostok” with the man on board was in space.
