  Урок английского языка в 8 классе.

Тема урока: ”The World`s Best Friend Is You “

УМК: Биболетова М, З., Трубанева  Н.Н..”Enjoy English -8”

Принципы обучения:  активности , наглядности, коммуникативности, учета индивидуально-психологических особенностей учащихся.

Используемые технологии : личностно-ориентированный подход, деятельный подход, использование компьютерных технологий , метод проектов, обучение в сотрудничестве .

Форма: презентации проектов.

Виды работы : индивидуальная , фронтальная , групповая.

Планируемые результаты обучения.

Личностные : формирование потребности в практическом использовании английского языка , стремление выполнить значимые действия .

Метапредметные : умение структурировать знания, умение участвовать в групповой работе.

Предметные: умение воспринимать информацию на слух с опорой на видео и понимать содержание текста, построенном на изученном материале.

Цели урока: активизировать коммуникативные навыки учащихся по теме, развивать лингвистические особенности учащихся (говорение и пение на английском языке);

формирование ответственного отношения к окружающей среде.

Образовательные задачи : систематизация имеющихся знаний и полученной информации по теме, умение  переносить полученные знания в новые ситуации.

Развивающие задачи : развитие навыков чтения с извлечением необходимой информации;

развитие эмоций, интереса и способностей личности .

Воспитательные задачи : воспитание положительного отношения к процессу обучения , воспитание умения у учащихся анализировать и подводить итоги ,формирование чувства ответственности и бережного отношения к родному краю и природе.

Метапредметные связи : биология , музыка , литература , экология .

Оборудование и материалы для урока :

видеопроектор , интерактивное приложение к учебнику Биболетовой М.З. «Enjoy English», мультимедийная презентация в программе Power Point, проектные работы учащихся, видеозапись для контроля аудирования , музыкальное сопровождение для исполнения песни.

Продолжительность урока : 45 минут

Аннотация

Данный урок был разработан и проведен мною в целях повышения мотивации к изучению иностранного языка и привлечения внимания учащихся к актуальным  проблемам  экологии. В результате «мозгового штурма» учениками было принято решение о создании 3 проектов: краткосрочного (индивидуальные задания «Создание игры на распознавание изучаемой лексики» и создание видеоролика о красоте родной природы), задания на 2 недели (разучивание песни «Imagine»,выполненного в режиме Ученик - Класс ); и более сложного группового задания (Создание и защита презентации на тему «Флора и фауна Саратовской области »).

Этапы работы над проектами:

1.Введение в проблему

2.Ознакомление с учебным материалом

3.Деление на группы для работы над проектами

4.Помощь учителя в организации работы

5.Творческая трансформация изученного материала учащимися

6.Заключительный этап: представление результатов своего труда на уроке.

Ход урока:        

1.Организационный момент

1.Приветствие  учителя.

T: Good afternoon! I`m glad to see you.

Sit down , please.

What day of the week is it today?

P1: It`s Tuesday.

T: Let`s review our poem.

II.Фонетическая зарядка

P: It`s Tuesday today and we are at school.

To study English is really  cool.

We  have lessons of English to discuss different things

And finish our lesson when the bell rings.

 T: So I want you to follow our plan.

III.Обсуждение  и сообщение задач урока

 T: At the last lesson we read the  texts and poems about the wonderful world we live in.

Can you recite a poem describing the beauties of our nature?

Учащиеся читают стихи о природе.

T: We spoke about  ecology and the pollution of natural environment.

What do you think we are going to do at this lesson, what are the aims of our work today ?

P1: I think we will discuss the main problems of ecology and draw some conclusions.

T: Yes, I agree with you. What else ?

P2: I think we will discuss these problems and offer our own suggestions on preserving nature.

P3: We will compose cinquains  about nature.

T: I agree with you. We shall talk about the environment and ecological problems today. Let`s speak on the topic and try to find out what the most important problems of ecology are and try to persuade our guests that it is important to protect nature.

Hope we shall find good ways of keeping our environment clean.

T:Dear students, look at these amazing landscapes.

T: But can you imagine that there might come a day when all this beauty will disappear? Of course, we can`t. However , nature faces a great threat.

So, What are the main tasks of our lesson today ?

T:  Just imagine that you can watch the videoconference on TV.

 Учащиеся просматривают видеоролик, снятый старшеклассниками.

T: The biologist is speaking on the urgent problems of nowadays.

( Роль биолога можно  поручить старшекласснику)

T: What are the main problems facing people on the Earth nowadays ?

P1: From the speech I have learned about the main problems on the planet nowadays.

P2: I have learned about air pollution.

T: What other environmental problems do you know?

P3: Litter.

P4: Water pollution.

T: That`s right.

T: I think you are ready to discuss the problem. So friends, I see that there are a lot of problems.

Hope we shall find good ways of keeping our environment clean.

T: First of all , you have to do the exercise on the smartboard.

1.Задание на составление слов по теме ( индивидуальная работа ученицы)

P1: Try to guess the words devoted to the topic “The Best Friend of the World Is You”. You are right. You are not right. Thank you for your attention.

T: Irina, have the students  repeated the words?

Irina: Yes, they have. I think the students know the worlds well.

T: Our planet is a beautiful garden, but it is in danger. What do you think the main problems of ecology are ? The year 2013 was called the Year of Ecology. People of different countries paid a lot of attention to the ecological problems.

T : So friends, I see that there are a lot of problems.

What steps can we do to keep our planet clean , to correct ecological problems ?

 P 1,2,3,4, :Walk or cycle instead of using cars.

When you are writing, use both sides of the paper.

Clean the parks and streets in your town. Have a “Clean –up Day” .

T: What other steps can be taken to correct ecological problems ?

Can we do anything to help nature? What should we do? What rule must we remember?

P1: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle! is the rule of 3 R`s.

VI. Общественная презентация подготовленного проекта.

1. My dear boys and girls!

T: You have learned many things, including some important ones. Please, name the most crucial problems.

P 1,2,3,4: air pollution, water pollution, the destruction of the wild nature, the changes of the climate, soil pollution…

T: That`s right. These are some of the  world`s serious problems.

What is the most urgent problem of our region ?

P 1,2,3: The destruction of wild nature.

T: I know you have prepared the project devoted to the flora and fauna of Saratov Region. Let`s watch and discuss it . Lisa will you help me , please?

Учащиеся представляют проект.

T :You wish the citizens of our region to pay attention to the beauties of our nature, to save it for the future generations.

P 1,2,3: We want to design the RED BOOK of  Saratov Region.

T: That`s a good idea.

VII. Поиск вывода-девиза урока.

T: As for me I`m going to come to the conclusion of our lesson  in the form of a poem of my own. Here it is. Listen to it and try to find the suitable words to express the main slogan or motto.Учитель читает свое стихотворение.

VIII.Задание творческого типа.

T: You know  Cinquian  is a 5-line poem that describes a noun(person, place or thing) It has 5 lines.

Line1.One word title, a noun (a person , place or thing).

Line2. Two adjectives (words that describe the thing).

Line3.Three verbs (words that tell what your noun does .)

Line4. A phrase (or sentence that describes a noun.)

Line5. A synonym for your title , another noun (another word for your title, rename your noun). Such poem is called Cinquain.

Let us write our poem about nature. Ученик читает стих.

P1: Pollution

Dangerous, unhealthy

Clean, prevent, distribute

We should clean the planet

Danger.

P3: Ученик читает свое стихотворение

People stop! You kill the environment,

Everything  is living and lovely.

It is perfect!

We can enjoy it every day ,

But you can help the Earth.

Plant a tree!

Give a little life to our planet !

T: Well, today we`ve  discussed some global problems. I hope the lesson was useful for you. Try to remember the most important rules about how to protect our nature.

T: Our lesson is coming to an end. Everybody`s business is the protection of nature. Let us save the Earth for ourselves and for the next generations.

Речь биолога.

B: Ladies and gentlemen!

Environmental problems have become exceptionally acute in the modern world.

I raise my voice against powerful monopolies, against their destructive force.

What have they done to the  Earth ?

They`ve turned our land into a desert of concrete and stone.

Rivers that used to be so beautiful and full of fish are  polluted.

What have they done to the skies, to the seas, to the oceans ?

They`ve created new machines, built roads and cities.

The noise is maddening!

They`ll test their bombs  until the world explodes into millions of little pieces.

They`ve done a great deal of harm to Man   and they are still doing so for profit  and  gain.

If nobody stops them we`ll face a nuclear war.

First of all we must change people`s attitude towards the environment . If we take action now,  there might be some hope for the future. If we do nothing , we are heading for disaster!

Choose life before it`s too late.
