Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку
Цели: - развитие интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка;
- обобщение изученного материала по теме «Страноведение»;
- развитие аудитивных, грамматических и лексических навыков.
Задачи:
Образовательная: расширять культурный кругозор учащихся;
Развивающая: развивать мышление, память, воображение;
Практическая: практиковать учащихся в чтении и говорении;
Воспитательная: воспитывать толерантное отношение к сверстникам, умение работать в группе;
План мероприятия:
Вступительное слово ведущих.
Знакомство команд.
Игра по станциям.
Подведение итогов мероприятия
Ход мероприятия
I. Организационный момент
— Good morning, dear children! I’m very glad to see you. I hope you are fine. Tell me please how are you getting on?
(Учитель приветствует детей и сообщает цели внеклассного мероприятия. Учащиеся делятся на 4 команды по 5 человек в каждой команде.)
— Today we’ll have a cross-cultural marathon. You will divide into four teams. There will be 5 pupils in each team. Each team will get a route paper and then you’ll have to pass all the stations of our competition.
The quickest and the cleverest team will be our winner.
So, let’s begin our competition.
II. Игра по станциям:
The first station is called «Страноведческая ». Your task is to answer the following questions. (Учащимся даётся 7 минут на выполнение)

The next station is “Words”. Make up the words using the letters of the word “ Stonehenge”.

The third station is called « Complete the Dialogue». (Приложение 2)
The next station is “Sand glass”. You should guess the words from the following letters.
ivrer, yphap, twon, ciyt, erfath, lowyel, waethre, sigths, terinten, tevisleion. (1word – 1point)
Station 5 “Countries”. Your task is to match the country with its capital:
- Russia, the UK, the USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Brazil, Japan, Ukraine.
- Tokyo, Kiev, Rome, London, Moscow, Washington, Berlin, Paris, Brasilia, Madrid
Station 6. “5 Themes” You should name 10 words on the following themes:
(max. 50 points)
“Towns”, “Cities”, “Sights”, “School”, “Animals”
Station 7. “Use of English”.
You should open the brackets and put the verbs into the proper tense form.
(Mrs. Green was a teacher in a big school. She 1_______(have) boys and girls in her class and always 2 __________(enjoy) teaching them, because they 3________(be) quick and they 4________(think) about everything carefully. Station 8 “Tongue- twisters”. Your task is to read as quickly as you can these tongue-twisters. (Приложение 3)
III. Подведение итогов.
It’s time to finish our competition. The teams, the captains and their classmates have done their best to win. We are happy to have such clever pupils. Now we shall find out who is the winner today. Let's look at the route papers of our teams.
