Use English while playing games

To chose a leader - выбрать ведущего.

Pay (no) attention (to) - (не) обратить внимание.

Ready, steady, go! (One, two, three!) - внимание, приготовились, начали!

«It» - водящий. ЩЗ То choose «It» - выбирать водящего.

Let's choose «It». Who will be «It». Let's count out to choose «It». The top - волчок.

To set the top spinning- пустить волчок.

To face each other - встать друг против друга.

То stand back to back — спиной друг к другу.

То stand at opposite sides of the room - встать в противоположных концах комнаты.

То call out - вызывать, выкрикивать.

Race - состязание в скорости.

Relay - эстафета.

То stand in a line - встать в ряд.

То line up - выстраиваться.

The players stand in a straight line and close their eyes.

To win - выигрывать.

The player that crosses the finishing line first wins.

Winner - победитель.

To go out - выходить.

You go out while we decide on a thing to hide.

To chase - догонять.

If the player recognizes the description of his own self he (she) begins running while «It» chases him.

To hold hands behind the back - держать руки за спиной.

Hold your hands behindyo, ur backs and pass the object from one to another.

To tie a handkerchief (a scarf) over one's eyes - завязать глаза платком.

M., tie the handkerchief over P. 's eyes.

To be blindfolded - быть с завязанными глазами.

A blind fold player, the Blind Man - игрок с завязанными глазами.

То think of a word (an object? A person, etc.) - загадывать слово.

«It» thinks of a well-known person, the rest of the class try to guess who the person is.

To hold smth. in a fist - зажимать что-либо в кулак.

То take a seat - занять место.

While the fruits change places «It» tries to take a seat.

To tag- запятнать.

A play, a game - игра.

Children's game - детская игра.

Rules of the game - правила игры.

Results of the game - результаты игры.

To join in the game, to come into play - вступать в игру.

To leave the game - выходить из игры.

To stop playing - прекращать игру.

To let smb. join in the game - принять кого-либо в игру.

A play on words - игра слов.

То play - играть.

То play a (wolf a clown, ...)- изображать кого-либо. Decide who you are going to play?

To perform an action, to mime a seem - сыграть этюд (действие без слов).

Now, М., act your ideas. Don't stop acting before the class says what you are doing.

A player - игрок.

As you say each word of the rhyme you point at a different player.

When the last word of the rhyme is said the player who is pointed at becomes «It».

To change one's voice - изменить голос.

A card (a set of cards) - карточка  (набор карточек).

A team (to compose a team) - команда.

A team-mate (player) - участник команды.

A partner - партнер.

To divide into teams - разделиться на команды.

Circle - круг.

To pass aroundfrom one to another - передавать по кругу.

To sit in a circle - садиться в круг.

«It» is blindfolded and sit in the centre of a a circle.

To guess - отгадывать.

M, you are to guess where the thing is hidden, j

A guesser - отгадчик.

To answer - ответить.

 A point - очко.

To score a point (to gain) - получить очко.

The player who finds the object first scores a point (Extra points.)

To lose a point - потерять очко.

To form a word (number) - построить слово.

To call in - позвать в класс.

To catch - поймать (в игре в жмурки).

A captive - пойманный.

The captive becomes «It». I

«It» asks the captive: «Are you Masha?»

To pass a thing from one to another - передавать предмет.

The players go on passing a thing from one to another until you hear the command «Stop!».

To snach a thing- схватить предмет.

I'll call out a number. When you hear it, run and try to snatch the thing.

To lose - проиграть.

A loser - проигравший.

You are the loser!

To hide - прятать(ся).

To imagine that one is hidden - спрятаться мысленно.

A player chooses a hiding place and imagines that he is hidden there.

Hide-and-seek - прятки.

Search for smb. - искать.

 At the signal - по сигналу.

At my signal begin to count.

A starting line - старт.

Everyone, line up at the starting line!

To line up, to get into a line - построиться.

Stand in a line andface the leaderl

A judge - судья.

One of the pupils is chosen to be a judge.

A counting rhyme — считалка.

To count to — считать до.

When I count to ten, you open your eyes.

To count off, to number off - рассчитаться (по порядку номеров).

To count out - рассчитаться (чтобы выбрать водящего).

 A forfeit - фант.

То redeem a forfeit - выкупить фант.

То lose one's forfeit—потерять фант.

A finishing line — финиш.

At ту signal run towards the finishing line.

A counter - фишка.

Try to keep your counters to the end of the game.

A watch, a clock—часы.

A sand-glass — песочные часы.

A stop-watch - секундомер.

To set the time limit - определить время для выполнения зада¬ния.

I'll set the time limit by the stop-watch (the sand-glass).
