I. GREETING

  1. Hello, children! I’m very glad to see you. Sit down, please. I’ll be your teacher. At first, let me introduce myself. My name is Elmira Alfisovna.

II. SPEECH DRILL

  1. What is your name? (My name is. . .)
  2. How are you? (I’m fine, thank you.)
  3. Do you like the weather today?
  4. What is the date today? (Today is the 11th  of February).
  5. Yes, you are quite right. Today is the 11th  of February
  6. Now repeat all together. (Today is the 11th  of February.)

III. PHONETIC DRILL

  1. Today we will learn a new poem. Now look at the blackboard and listen to me.

                   BILLY AND LILY

She is looking at the star.           [ŋ]               a guitar [gi΄ta:] – гитара

He is playing the guitar.          looking

He is singing, “Dear Lily,       playing

How beautiful you are!”          singing                                                      

  1. Repeat after me  some sounds and some words.          
  1. Repeat line by line after me
  2. And now find the sentences, where the Present Continuous Tense is used?
  3. Thank you. Good job!
  4. Let’s translate the poem.
  5.  Let’s read all together.
  6. Who wants to read the whole poem? Yes, please.  
  7. Well.

IV. DEVELOPING ORPHOGRAPHIC SKILLS

  1. Today we will remember everything, that we have learned. But before let’s make two commands. You will be the first command and you will be the command. You will do several tasks, and get balls for your good job. And at the end of our lesson  we will know who will be the winner.

  1. Your task is, at first, to read the word. Then you are to cross out the transcription and then to write the word. And at last, to make the sentence using this word.

  4. You task is to write a script. Ill give you 4 minute and then we will check up.

  1. It’s time to check up your grammar skills. Open you books on page 58 and find ex 15.
  2. Read and translate the task, please.
  3. Read the example, please.
  4. The sentences under the letters A and C are for first command. And sentences under the letters B and D are for second command.
  5. Perfect!

  2. Read and translate the task, please.
  3. The  1 and 3 sentences are for first command. And 2 and 4 sentences are for second command.
