People all over the world are fond of sports and games. Sport makes people healthy, keeps them fit, more organized and better disciplined. It unites people of different classes and nationalities. Many people do sports on their personal initiative. They go in for skiing, skating, table tennis, swimming, volley-ball, football, body-building, etc. All necessary facilities are provided for them: stadiums, sport grounds, swimming pools, skating rinks, skiing stations, football fields. Around the world were created by the different brands of sportswear and equipment. We consider the three most famous and largest of the brand.
Nike - is a major publicly traded sportswear and equipment supplier based in the United States. The company is headquartered near Beaverton, Oregon, in the Portland metropolitan area. The company was founded on January 25, 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight and officially became Nike, Inc. on May 30, 1978.
Adidas AG is a German sports apparel manufacturer and parent company of the Adidas Group, which consists of the Reebok sportswear company, Taylor Made-Adidas golf company (including Ashworth), and Rockport. Besides sports footwear, the company also produces other products such as bags, shirts, watches, eyewear, and other sports- and clothing-related goods. Adidas was founded in 1948 by Adolf " Adi " Dassler , following the split of Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik between him and his older brother Rudolf
Reebok International Limited , a subsidiary of the German sportswear company Adidas since 2005, is a producer of athletic shoes, apparel , and accessories. The name comes from the Afrikaans spelling of rhebok , a type of African antelope or gazelle . In 1960, two of the founder's grandsons Joe and Jeff Foster renamed the company Reebok in United Kingdom, having found the name in a dictionary won in a race by Joe Foster as a boy; the dictionary was South African edition hence the spelling.
