Zero conditional . We use it to talk about things which regularly happen or scientific facts, instructions, logical deductions
Form If-clause Main clause If + simple present simple present If it rains , If it doesn’t rain the ground becomes wet. the grass doesn’t grow . Note that we are not talking about a specific event or fact but something which is generally true.

First conditional . We use it to talk about things which are possible in the future. So we think they may happen .

Read the story “I won’t tell you the time”and open the brackets. Make suppositions.
