Saratov is a big city. Here live many families with children . In addition, children and their parents  ask themselves: “What  can we visit  with  children  in Saratov?”.

In fact, Saratov is an old and big city with a developed infrastructure for children: museums , theaters, parks, sports complexes, so there I need to create a tourist map of Saratov specifically for children.

The aim of the study is to create a tourist map of Saratov for children.

The object of the research is the resources of Saratov for the development of children's tourism.

Subject of research - develop tourist routes for children.

Objectives of the study:

- To study the infrastructure of children's institutions in Saratov;

- To select the main objects that will be included in the tourist routes for children;

- To develop special  tourist routes for children in Saratov;

- To make recommendations for improving tourist routes for children in Saratov.

Research methods.

The study was conducted by the method of included observation.

Conducting a survey of classmates.

• Processing the results of the survey.
• Presentation of them in the form of a diagram.
• To make  recommendations on the results of the survey.

We have developed the  theatrical route for  children who likes  to attend theaters.

1. TYUZ  - Theater of the Young Spectator   is the first professional children's theater, which opened in October  1918. They played the fairy tale “Blue Bird” based on the play by M. Meterlink.

2. The Puppet Theater "Teremok" was founded in 1936 and is considered one of the first puppet theaters in Russia. Every year the theater puts on new performances, offers excursions to the backstage of the  theater  and creative meetings with puppeteers.

3. The Saratov Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, one of the oldest in the Volga region and in Russia, was founded in 1803. The Opera and Ballet Theater constantly shows performances for children - “Sadko”, “Swan Lake”, “The Nutcracker”, “Sleeping Beauty”.

We offer the  museum route for children who prefer educational activities.

The Saratov Regional Museum of Museum of  Local  History, is one of the oldest in the Volga region, founded in 1886.

Museum of Military Glory presents a unique exhibition of military equipment  and weapons in the open air in the Volga region.

The Saratov Art  Museum  named after  A.N. Radishchev is a museum in Saratov, one of the most art museums in the province of Russia. The museum was opened in 1885 and was the first publicly accessible art museum in the Russian Empire.

The Einstein Museum of Entertaining Sciences is one of the most interesting sights of Saratov.  The museum contains such interactive exhibits that will involve schoolchildren and their parents in the study of various sciences. All exhibits are active.

For children who love animals is the animal route.

There are some contact zoos in Saratov.  Here you can look at animals, feed  and take photos  with them. In contact zoos is a big collection   of animals - goats, pigs, chickens, lemurs, raccoons, kangaroos and other animals. The most famous contact zoos in Saratov - “Mi-Mi-Mi” in the Shopping Moll “Tau Gallery”, “Little Raccoon” in the City Park, and “Madagascar” - in the Shopping Center “Manege”.

For children who are fond of sports, we offer the  sports  routе, which involves visiting the sports arenas of the city.

Lokomotiv is a stadium in Saratov, the home arena of football club Sokol. In addition to the football field, the stadium has jogging tracks, a tennis court, and a playground for sports.

Dynamo  locates in the historical center of Saratov. The Dynamo stadium is an important sports facility of the city and is open to all people who love sports and an active lifestyle. The stadium has some sections: athletics, shaping, football, treadmill, hockey club, karate, gym.

Ice Palace "Crystal" - home games hockey club "Crystal" holds in this  ice palace ,accommodating more than 5 thousand spectators.

Spartak Stadium was first built alone western tribune for a half thousand wooden seats. In addition to the football field, two volleyball courts were equipped. In the 1930s, the city’s stadium became the main arena of football battles, physical education and other sports events.

THE TRAVELING  ROUTE is for children  who likes  walking and traveling  .

The largest natural park in Saratov is Kumysnaya Polyana. Here you can rent bicycles, skis, quad bikes, paintball, climb in the rope town and much more. On the territory of the park "Kumysnaya Polyana" live hares, foxes. There are moose, roe deers and wild boars. There are a lot of different  sanatoriums, children's camps and ski resorts here.

City Park "Lukomorye" - the most beautiful city park of Saratov. There are ponds, cafes, attractions.  The park is equipped with an entertainment area - attractions for children of different ages. City Park - one of the oldest parks. On the territory of the park  locatеs the town of attractions “Lukomorye

Park Lipki - perhaps the most famous park of Saratov. Small but cozy. In the summer  lindens bloom in the park.

The Victory Park was founded in 1975 in honor of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.  

On May  9, 1999, the Saratov State Museum of Military Glory was solemnly opened in Victory Park .  An  unique exposition of military and agricultural equipments has more than 180 exhibits.

The first exhibit of the Saratov State Museum of Military Glory on the territory of Victory Park is the plane Yak-38 deck attack aircraft  installed on a pedestal in front of the Park.

The Nikitin Brothers Circus is the second permanent circus in Europe. It founded in 1876 by circus artists Nikitin brothers. The circus proudly has  the name of the Nikitin brothers.

Visiting Husky - an exciting excursion to the kennel sled dogs Husky.

The  guide will hold a fascinating tour of the kennel's territory, during which you can play with these amazing dogs , learn a lot of this breed and about  riding sports, and also have time for a photo session.

Club "Golden Horseshoe."  There are  a lot of   riding tours for children through the woods, riding on  sleighs, horse riding training, excursions in the club .

Limonariy in Saratov is  an extraordinary phenomenon. Over thirty species of exotic plants recreate the delights of tropical flora.

The study showed that in Saratov there are many objects that parents     with children can visit. However, many of them are currently in a bad  state, for example, the Spartak stadium. I

I  interviewed  a survey among classmates and asked the following questions.

Which of the tourist routes would you choose for yourself?

What did you like about every tourist route?

What would you like to visit in our city?

According to the survey, I found the following results.

On the first place of all tourist routes there is the entertainment route, on the second place is a sports route, and on the third place is a TRAVEL route.

12 people chose an entertainment route, 8 people chose a sports route and 6 people chose a travel route.

In the theater route, more than half of my classmates (10 people)  chose to visit the Drama Theater and the Theater of the Young Spectator.

In the museum route   6 people  would   like to    visit  the Museum of Military Glory.

In the  travel route, almost all classmates 6 people  would like to visit the City Park Lukomorye  and the  Victory Park.

In our city, my classmates would like to attend sports and leisure activities.

In this regard, I believe that everyone needs to spend more time raising the cultural level of children and visiting the museums ,theaters and  libraries in  our city.

Today, it is necessary to devote more time to cultural and educational activities among teenagers.
