«Достопримечательности Лондона»

Тема: «Лондон, его достопримечательности»

Класс: 6

УМК:  К.И.Кауфман, М.Ю.Кауфман  «Счастливый английский. ру Happy English. ru», 2-ой год обучения.

Оснащение урока: учебник, рабочая тетрадь, раздаточный материал, тест для индивидуальной работы, картинки с изображением достопримечательностей Лондона, презентация Power point, компьютер, проектор, экран.

ЦЕЛИ УРОКА:

1)Познавательный аспект:

--- увеличение объема знаний об особенностях культуры страны изучаемого языка;

--- знакомство с достопримечательностями Лондона.

2)  Развивающий аспект:

--- развивать навыки устной речи, навыки диалогического и монологического высказывания;

--- развивать творческие способности обучающихся.

3)  Воспитательный аспект:

--- воспитание уважительного, толерантного отношения к чужой культуре;

--- прививать интерес к чужой культуре;

--- формировать навыки самостоятельного труда;

--- формировать умение работать в парах и индивидуально.

4) Учебный аспект:

             --- отрабатывать фонетические навыки на конкретных примерах;

             --- закреплять полученные знания;

             --- учить использовать в речи выражения, лексический материал по теме;

             --- обобщить грамматический материал (Past Simple).

ХОД УРОКА:

I) Организационный момент.

---приветствие:

     Good morning. I’m glad to see you. Good morning our dear guests! Welcome to our lesson! Dear children, I hope you are fine today.

     Today we’ll have an unusual lesson. We’ll have a trip to London. Please answer: “Have you been to London?” I suppose you haven’t. So, the topic of our lesson is “London’s sightseeing”. Do you want to visit London?”  And the aim of our lesson is to get some information about London.

--- речевая зарядка:

А) Повторение лексических единиц по теме «Погода» и употребление неправильных глаголов.

       ---What is а weather today? Is it rainy/ sunny/ cold/ hot/ windy?

Б) The main characters of our textbook are Rob and Misha. They were in London. They sent some photos for us. Let’s discuss them together. Answer the questions.

            Учащимся предлагается ответить на вопросы “Какая погода была в Лондоне?»

(слайды 2-5).

В)   -   Какой неправильный глагол мы использовали при ответе? Давайте  повторим и другие неправильные глаголы.    (Повторение неправильных глаголов ). Ответить на вопросы по картинкам:

--- What did children do?           Where did they go?

     Whom did they see?  и т.д.  (слайды 6-12)

II) Основной этап. Работа по видам речевой деятельности.

     Let's go to London! What can we visit?

There are many sights there. Look at the board and repeat all together.

1. Работа с лексическими единицами.

Уч-ся должны соединить слова в словосочетания. (слайд 14)

2) And now let’s read the text about London. After that you are to fill in the table.

Поисковое чтение – нахождение в тексте нужной информации. Уч-ся читают текст про себя  и затем выполняют задание, используются приёмы технологии критического мышления (концептуальная таблица, « ромашка Блума»).

“ The places to visit”

    London is the capital of England. It is one of the largest cities in the world. It stands on the river Thames. About 9 million people live there. London is more 2 thousand years old. There are 3 parts in London: the City, the East End and the West End.

    Trafalgar Square is the centre of London. On the column in the centre there is a statue of Admiral Nelson. To the left there is the National Gallery. It has a fine collection of paintings. Every day many tourists visit it.

   Buckingham Palace is the home of the Queen. When the flag is flying on the roof she is at home.

    The Houses of Parliament was a royal palace. Now it is the seat of the British Government. Big Ben is the most famous clock in the world. Really it is a bell. We can hear it every hour.

    Near Tower Bridge we can see the Tower of London. It was a fortress, a royal palace and a prison. Now it is a museum. There are a lot of interesting collections in the Tower of London.

     One of the greatest English churches, St. Paul’s Cathedral, is not far from the Tower of London. The famous English architect Sir Christopher Wren built it in the 17th century. It took him 35 years.

   Westminster Abbey is a famous royal church.

3) Физкультминутка:

--- Clap your hands when you hear words about London:

The Kremlin, St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Isaak’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square, Palace Square, Red Square, the Pushkin Museum, the British Museum, the Russian Museum, the National Gallery, the Tretyakov Gallery, The Tower, the Houses of Parliament, the Winter Palace, Westminster Abbey.

4) Let’s continue to work. Take another text.

 --- Read and complete it.

Совершенствование навыков чтения. (Текст составлен на основе “The places to visit”). Уч-ся должны подставить слова в текст, а затем читают текст вслух.

 (London, Trafalgar, Buckingham, galleries, Westminster, beautiful, city, are, museum, Big Ben, people)

  … is the capital of Great Britain. It is one of … cities in the world. About 9 million … live there. It is a very old … . There … so much for people to see in London: parks, palaces, museums and art … .

  In the centre of London you can see … Square. Not far from this square there is … palace. It’s Queen’s home.

The other interesting place is … . It was a fortress, a palace, a prison. It’s a famous … now.

   … is the big clock tower. It’s a symbol of London.

There are many beautiful old churches in London: … Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral.

5) Let’s continue to speak about London. Look at the board and describe the following sights.

 Совершенствование навыков монологической речи.

Уч-ся рассказывают о достопримечательностях Лондона, пользуясь презентацией. (Слайды 15-24)

Учащиеся сначала называют достопримечательность и говорят 2-3 предложения.

Это является подготовительным этапом для домашней работы. Дома подготовить проект об одной из достопримечательностей Лондона.

 6) Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи.

Сначала ребята читают диалог, затем по образцу разыгрывают свой.

---We are going to read the dialogue. Read it in pairs.

A: - Hello. How are you?

B: - Hello. I’m fine. And you?

A: - I’m fine too. Thank you. I was in London and visited Covent Garden.

B: - What is Covent Garden famous for?

A: - It is one of the famous theatres. It is in the centre of the vegetable market.

B: - How interesting!

--- Now you should change it. Before doing that, tell me please, what can be changed in it?

--- Make up your dialogue, please.

    Do you want to visit London?

    What places of interests would you like to see?

III) Заключительный этап, подведение итогов.

--- сообщение домашнего задания;

--- выставление оценок;

--- подведение итогов.
