I.  Организационный  момент.

II. Warm-up.

Clothes and fashion are always among the most interesting topics to talk about. Women and girls are very interested in them. Men and boys also love wearing nice modern clothes, boots or shoes. So fashion problems can excite and interest everybody. We wear different clothes for different occasions.

And now we will have a survey. Here are some questions to this issue. Plies, answer the questions.

1. Are you interested in fashion? (yes/no)
2. Do you follow in fashion? (yes/no)
3. How much time you spend in front of mirror?
4. Do your clothes influence your mood? (yes/no)
5. Do you buy fashion magazines? (yes/no)
6. Do you find make-up necessary for everyone? (yes/no)
7. Are you satisfied with your wardrobe? (yes/no)

V. Speaking

Fashion, or clothing stile, is always changing. Fashion is never permanent. Long skirts, short skirts, pants, make-up – these are some of the fashions that come in and out of style. A style that is popular one year is out of stile the next. Even people who say they don’t care what they wear chose clothes every morning that say a lot about them and how they feel that day. Styles show who you are and create stereotypes. Indeed, we judge others by their appearance. So, there is no doubt that appearance is important. And now listen to some projects about fashion and stile. First of all about history of clothes.

VI. Role-play. At the fashion show.

Fashion is a big business. More people are involved in the buying, selling and production of clothing than any other business in the world. Everyday, millions of workers design, sew, dye, and transport clothing to stores. We suggest our models for teenagers from our fashion house.

VII. Your homework is to write a letter.

… Do you ever argue with your parents about what you wear? My parents and I don’t seem to agree about clothes at all! Is it important to you to be fashionable? What sort of clothes do you like wearing? Why? Do you think I should wear what my parents tell me to? Have you got any good advice?
