Викторина по английскому языку для 5-6 классов “Are you good at English”

Цель: закрепление имеющихся знаний в области английского языка посредством игровой ситуации.

Задачи:

Образовательная

- повышать познавательный интерес учащихся к языку через использование игровых моментов;

- закрепить умение употребления в речи разговорной речи;

- обучение навыкам восприятия на слух иностранных слов.

Развивающая

- развивать внимание и память учащихся;

- развивать умение работать в группе.

Воспитательная

- умение работать в сотрудничестве с другими;

- воспитывать уважительное отношение к другой культуре.

Комментарии: Урок проводится в виде соревнования, поэтому учащихся необходимо поделить на 2 – 3 команды (в зависимости от количества участников). Или можно провести викторину между учащимися 5 и 6 классов.

Ход занятия

1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.

Good morning, pupils! It’s a lovely day! I’m very glad to see you! Let’s start our lesson!

Ребята, сегодня мы с вами немножко поиграем. Для этого мы поделились на 2 команды. Вам будут представлены различного рода задания, за выполнение которых вы получите баллы.

Представляю вам членов нашего сегодняшнего жюри, которые будут оценивать ваши баллы и в конце урока подведут итог и объявят команду-победителя.  

Итак, для начала познакомимся.

-Please meet the first team. In this team you can see pupils from 5-6 forms. Let’s greet the second team from 7-8 forms. Girls and boys I wish you good luck.

2. Конкурсы

1. «Mistakes»

Командам дается задание – убрать одно лишнее слово в каждой строчке. И нужно объяснить, почему это слово лишнее.

1. peach, pear, chicken, apple, banana

3. bird, airplane, kite, helicopter, bus

4. red, sun, green, purple, brown

5. cold, warm, dry, sky, cloudy

2. «Расшифруй». Команды получают карточки с заданием – 4 зашифрованных слова с пояснением. За каждый правильный ответ по 1 баллу.

ABELT You eat at it.

ACHIR You sit on it.

ORCOEK You cook on it your meal.

ALMP You switch it on when it is dark.

DERMOOB A room where you can sleep.

ABHT Do you like it hot or cold?

CEHIKNT A room where you can cook dinner.

ADEGNR A place where flowers and vegetables grow

Our second task is riddles. Now listen to the riddles and guess them.

(Загадки можно написать на карточках, но лучше читать учителю).

3. Riddles.

1. I have four legs, but I can’t walk. (a chair)

5. Two brothers, but they don’t see each other. (eyes)

8. It gives us milk and butter two. It’s very kind and likes to moor. (a cow)

4. Our next task is proverbs and sayings. I think you like proverbs and sayings. Now we’ll have the possibility to check up your knowledge.
