1. My family

I want to tell you about my family. My  family is not large.

It consist of   four   people.

They are my mother, my father, my sister and me.

Now I ´d like to tell about their characters.

My mother is generous and hard-working.

My father is a bit strict and honest.

My sister is talkative. As for me,  I´m easy-going.

Besides, my parents have much in common. They like doing sport, to read books.

My hobby is learning languages, doing sports, cooking.

That’s all I wanted to say.

                                          3. My day

     I want to tell you about my daily routine. I get up at ___ o'clock in the morning and go to the bathroom. I wash myself, brush my teeth and comb my hair. Then I have breakfast.
   At ___ o'clock I leave home and go to school. It is not far  from my house,. On my way to school I sometimes meet my classmates and friends. We talk and discuss things.

I usually have six lessons at school. The first lesson starts at 11:20 in the morning and the sixth lesson finishes at 15:40 in the afternoon. At school we have a lot of subjects: Maths, Russian, Literature, English, Computing, Physical Education and others. We learn a lot of interesting and useful things.
   In my free time I can  watch TV, read books, listen to music,  sometimes I play computer games.
 On my day off I stay at home, sometimes I go for a walk with my friends.
That's all I wanted to say.

1. I have got a pet.
2. It’s a cat/ dog.
3. Her name is Mourka.
4. She is 2 years old.
5. Mourka is grey and white.  She is fluffy.
6. She is little.
7. I teach her to jump and to play hide-and-seek.
8. She can catch birds.
9. She likes to eat fish and meat.
10. She doesn’t like to walk.
11. I like to play with my cat.
12. I always look after my cat. I like my cat because she is a very clever cat.

                           5.  My friend

• I have got a close friend. His name is… My friend is in the same form as me. We made friends in the first form. We know each other since the primary school.
• The proverb says “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. People need friends to have fun together, help each other and not to be lonely.
•  My friend studies well. He is a good pupil and a good friend. He often helps me to do homework.

• I like to spend time with my friend. We talk about music and different things. Also we often go for a walk together and meet our friends.
•  Dima is my close friend and I can tell him about my problems. He also shares his ideas with me. I can’t say that we have much in common and we have the same hobby. We like playing chess.
• I like my friend very much and think that we are true friends. That’s all I wanted to say.

      №6  The United Kingdom

I want to tell you about the United Kingdom.

Firstly, the United Kingdom is made up of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Their capitals are London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast . The UK is situated on the western coast of Europe.

Secondly, in the UK  live  the English, the Scots, the Welsh, the Irish and many other nationalities.

The climate of Great Britain is mild. It is not too hot in summer or too cold in winter. It often rains in England. Snow usually falls only in the North and West of the country.Also in the UK you can visit castles and cathedrals and see beautiful landscapes.In London you can see Big Ben, Tower Bridge, British museum, London Eye etc.  I´d like to visit Britain.
