Урок английского языка в 7 классе по теме

“What do English-speaking people think about their countries?”

/ «Что англоговорящие люди думают о своих странах?»

Тип урока: урок усвоения новых знаний

Цель урока: более глубокое усвоение и расширение знаний по теме «Страны, столицы  и национальности»

Задачи урока:

Образовательная: формировать умение самостоятельно работать с иноязычным текстом, расширить  объем знаний о странах изучаемого языка, стимулировать учащихся к  развитию речевых умений;

Развивающая:  развивать навыки критического мышления, познавательных  способностей  учащихся, умение извлекать нужную информацию из прочитанного;

Воспитательная:  прививать интерес к изучению английского языка, формировать умение работать в группе, воспитывать толерантное отношение учащихся друг к другу и жителям стран изучаемого языка.

Планируемые результаты:

Личностные: формирование мотивации к изучению английского языка, формирование коммуникативной компетенции;

Метапредметные: умение организовывать учебное сотрудничество и совместную деятельность с учителем и сверстниками;

Предметные:

Ученик научится: извлекать нужную информацию из прочитанного текста, задавать вопросы по теме и отвечать на них, рассказывать об англоязычной стране;

Ученик получит возможность научиться: составлять экскурсию, писать статью в школьную газету.

Формы работы: индивидуальная, фронтальная, парная, групповая.

Ход урока

1.Организационный момент

Teacher: Good morning, children!

               I’m glad to see you!

               Sit down, please!

               How are you today?  

2. Целеполагание и мотивация учебной деятельности.

Teacher: Look at the pictures, listen attentively and guess the topic of our lesson.

Pupils: Today we’ll speak about the English-speaking countries, people, what English-speaking people think about their countries.

Teacher: You are right. The topic of our lesson is “What do English-speaking people think about their countries?”

What is the aim of our lesson?

Pupils: The aim of our lesson is to speak about the English-speaking countries.

Teacher:What will we do?

Pupils:We will read texts, speak, listen, write.

Teacher:Good. Open your copybooks, write down the date. What date is it today?

Pupils:Today it is the 28th of  November.

Teacher:What day of the week is it today?

Pupils:It is Tuesday.

Teacher:Write down the topic of our lesson-“What do English-speaking people think about their countries?”

3. Актуализация ЗУН

Teacher:What words come to your mind when you think about countries? Let’s make a word web.

Pupils: Capital, languages, main cities, holidays, traditions, interesting facts, places of interest.

Teacher: Well done. What English-speaking countries do you know?

Pupils: The UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand

Teacher: Right you are. Look at the word web and say what you know about these countries.

4.Физминутка

 Teacher: Are you tired? Let’s have a little rest. Stand up, please.

5. Изучение нового учебного материала

Teacher: OK, children. Now you have to divide into 5 groups. Imagine that you are the participants of the International teenagers’ conference. Open your textbooks on page 40.

Look at the ex. 31.You have to  read a text about one  English-speaking country and then introduce it to your friends. Don’t forget to express your opinions. Other students may ask questions to learn more about your countries.

But first write down new words. Who can translate them?

Teacher: Very good. Choose a country. Who will tell about the UK?

6. Закрепление нового учебного материала

Teacher: Are you ready to introduce your countries? Tell your friends about your countries, express your opinions and ask questions to get more information about other English-speaking countries.

Who wants to be the first? Come here please, let’s start.

Teacher: I see that you’ve understood the topic very well. Please, help me to complete the  sentences.
