Урок посвящён нашему родному городу Ярославлю.

Проведён в 8 классе, как нетрадиционный урок в конце 1 четверти.

Вступительная часть

Учащимся демонстрируется самодвижущаяся презентация, посвящённая Ярославлю. Учитель комментирует кадры по-английски, выступая в роли экскурсовода.

Основная часть

-Ученикам предлагается «озвучить презентацию» английским текстом, стать экскурсоводом по городу.

Для этого класс делится на 3 группы по5-6 человек. Каждая группа работает над заданием, в котором нужно соединить начало и конец предложений. Затем их нужно расставить логически, чтобы получился рассказ, подходящий к презентации.

- Далее презентация демонстрируется повторно.  Учащиеся выбирают кадры, которые они будут озвучивать по очереди. (тренировка)

-Группы представляют полученные предложения к кадрам презентации, выступая в роли экскурсоводов.

Заключение.

Успешно справившимся учащимся выдаётся готовый текст сообщения о Ярославле, как лучшим переводчикам.

Yaroslavl

                      I’ll tell you about my native town Yaroslavl. It’s an ancient city situated on the banks of the Volga river, not far from Moscow.                                                                        Its population is about 650 thousand people.                                                                        The town was founded by prince Yaroslav the Wise in 1010. You can see his monument on Bogoyavlenskaya Square in the centre.                                               In the 17th century 35 churches were built here, so it’s the Golden Age in the History of the town.                                                                                                             Yaroslavl is the main town of the Golden Ring of  Russia. The tourists who come to our town can visit the historical places,  interesting monuments and museums, unforgettable monasteries and cathedrals.                                                     One of them is the Spasskiy Monastery, the architectural ensemble of the 12th century.                                                                                                                         The Church of St Elijah the Prophet is one of the most beautiful and situated on the main square, Sovetskaya. .                                                                                    The wonderful Volga Embankment is a favourite  place of people who like to rest.                                                                                                                                 The city is famous for its Drama Theatre, the first and the oldest in Russia. The theatre was founded in 1750 by Russian actor F. Volkov.                                                              Many famous people were born, lived or worked in our town. Some of the well known people are a great poet Nekrasov, a singer and composer Sobinov, a first woman-cosmonaut V.Tereshkova.                                                                                     The town has got more than 100 plants and factories: a Tyre plant, a Motors plant, an Oil refinery plant, etc                                                                                               Now Yaroslavl is a very beautiful, modern, green and big industrial, cultural and transport centre of Russia.
