Прощание с английским алфавитом

Задачи:

1. Обучающая: повторение и закрепление пройденного материала в игровой форме, выявление знаний, умений у учащихся,  формирование навыков произношения.

2. Развивающая: развитие навыка фонетического слуха, умения работать не только самостоятельно, но и в парах и командах, а также развитие логического мышления, памяти; индивидуальных творческих и артистических способностей учащихся,

3. Воспитательная: обучение межличностному общению, воспитание чуткого отношения к слову в процессе общения к иной языковой культуре, повышение мотивации к изучению предмета

Цель: Подведение итогов работы за 1 год изучения английского языка и повышение интереса к изучаемому предмету.

Teacher: Good morning, dear boys and girls! Welcome to our ABC party!

A is for alphabet and for ABC.

Can you say the alphabet from A to Z?

Children: Yes.

Teacher: Let’s sing "The ABC” song. Учащиеся исполняют песню.

Teacher: А теперь вспомним английские звуки. Делимся на 3 команды по 4 человека. Команды становятся на расстоянии 15 шагов от доски  — я поочередно называю командам звуки английского языка, а вы  называете с ними слова. Если вы правильно подобрали слова к определенному звуку, то команда делает шаг вперед, если ошиблись, то остается на месте. Выигрывает та команда, которая быстрее подошла к учителю.

Teacher: На звук [h] вы подобрали слово Hello!Let’s sing a song “Hello!”

Дети исполняют песню « Hello! »

Hello, hello!
Hello, how are you?

I hope that you are, too.

Teacher: Посмотрите, с нашим алфавитом что-то случилось, в нем пропали буквы. Вы делитесь на две команды, а я  демонстрирую написанный на листе бумаги алфавит с пропущенными  буквами. Выигрывает та команда, которая быстрее найдет пропущенные буквы.

Teacher. I see you know the ABC very well, but do you know the names of the colours?

Отгадываем загадки:

Tell me what colour is the snow? (It is white).

What colour is the fox? (It is red).

What colour is the frog? (It is green).

And what colour is the chicken? (It is yellow).

Pinocchio

Storyteller: Once upon a time there lived an old carpetener. One day he worked in his shop.

Mr Antonio: I like to work. I like to do tables, chairs for people. I’ve got a very good wood. I think I can’t make a chair out of it. What to do? Oh,I can make a puppet out of it. (берет топор и пытается делать куклу)

Pinocchio (sounds): Don’t strike me so hard!

Mr Antonio: Oh, what is it? Who is here? (continues working)

Pinocchio: Oh, you have hurt me! You are tickling me over!

II A knock

Antonio: Come in!

Gepetto: Good-day! What are you doing?

Antonio: Nothing!

Gepetto: I have an idea. I want to make a puppet, learn it to sing and earn money with it.

Antonio: Geppetto, my friend, stop your dreaming. That is a bad idea.

Gepetto: No,it is not. This will be the most beautiful puppet anyone has ever seen.

Antonio: OK.I can help you. I have a wood and I can give it to you.

Gepetto: Thanks a lot.

Storyteller: Gepetto returned home and began to work.

Gepetto: What name shall I give him? I have some time to think. Oh,I am so tired. I want to go to bed and in the morning I will continue my work. I’ll finish you tomorrow, little one. (Looks up) Ah, what a wonderful star. (To puppet) Why do I talk to you? You’re only wood. A wooden puppet. And I’m just a lonely, foolish old man. Good night, little one.

Storyteller: When Gepetto fell asleep, Blue Fairy comes.

Fairy: Poor Geppetto. He is so lonely and so sad. He wants to make a wonderful puppet that can dance and sing, so that he will not be lonely any more. Shall I give Geppetto his wish? I think I shall. Now what shall I name this little puppet? May be Pinocchio? (To the puppet) Pinocchio? Little Puppet, open your eyes. Move your head. Now your arms.  Now your legs. Speak. Pinocchio?

Pinocchio:  Pinocchio!

Fairy:  Yes.That is your name.

Pinocchio: But who are you?

Fairy: I am the godmother of all little puppets. I am your friend, Pinocchio. Now, little puppet, you must listen to me for a moment.

Pinocchio:  Listen?

Fairy: Yes, Be a good puppet for Geppetto, I won’t be far away. I’ll be watching you, little puppet. Goodbye.

Storyteller: In the morning Gepetto got up and began to work.        

Gepetto: What a wonderful morning. Look at the sun. Good morning, little one. You’re almost finished. I’ll put your hat on. (He does so.) There. Let’s see now. You need a little more paint. And what name shall I give you?

Pinocchio: Pinocchio!

Gepetto: Who is talking?

Pinocchio: It’s me! Pinocchio! Hello Father!

Gepetto: Hello Pinocchio! I’ll teach you. (teaches pinocchio to walk) Be careful!

Pinocchio: Look! I am walking!

Pinnochio: What are little boys made of?

What are little girls made of?

I want to eat. What is it?

Gepetto: There is a door, but it is closed. Now, go to school. Take a book.

Pinocchio: Yes, I will go.

Storyteller: Pinocchio is going to school and hears sounds of music, thinks, and sees the sign

“The Great Puppet Theatre”

Boy: Hurry up! Hurry up! Candy! Ice Cream! Popcorn! Right this way, ladies and gentlemen. Right this way. See the world’s greatest puppet show. See the puppets dance and sing. Laugh with them. Cry with them. Right this way.

Pinocchio: Oh, I want to see.

Boy: Pay a coin and you can see the show.

Pinocchio: How much does it cost?

Boy: One coin.

Pinocchio: I have no coins. Can you give me a coin?

Boy: No.

Pinocchio: Please, take my spelling book?

Boy: Yes, I’ll give you a ticket for this book. Take your ticket. Such a wonderful book! I can study now. I can start reading. May be, I will go to school.

Harlequin: How do you do, my little spectators? I`m glad to see you in our theatre.

Punchinello: Good afternoon, children! Our theatre shows sad tragedies. But today you`ll see the comedy «The Girl with the Blue Hair». It`s a splendid show.

Harlequin: Yes, it really is a splendid show!

Punchinello: Our story begins

On a perfect summer day

A very very long time ago

Our Harlequin fell in love with the Girl with Blue Hair.

Pinocchio: The Girl with the Blue Hair? Who is she?

Punch: What was that?

Harlequin: I don’t know. It is not me.

Punchinello: Do I dream or am I awake? But surely that is Pinocchio!

All: Yes, he is Pinocchio.

Pinocchio: Hello friends!

Showman: Why aren’t you playing? Who are you?

Pinocchio: I am Pinocchio.

Showman: What are you doing here? Don’t disturb my Puppets.

Pinocchio: I only want to play with them.

Showman: Hurlequin, Punchinello, bring me this Puppet I`ll put him in the fire and make a good dinner.

Pinocchio: Father! Father! Help me!

Showman: Who is your Father!

Pinocchio: My Father is Gepetto! He is very poor! His fireplace is not real. It is drawn!

Showman: Really! I think he is a good man. I want to help him. Take these coins and give them to your father.

Storyteller: Pinocchio came out of the Theatre very rich. He was very happy. He wanted to show his Father how clever he was. Suddenly he saw a Cat and a Fox. (Лиса хромала, а кот притворился слепым, Лиса вела Кота).

 Fox: Good day! Help poor!

Pinocchio: Oh! Hello! I have 5 gold coins, but I must give them to my Father

Cat: How foolish you are! You can double your coins.

Pinocchio: Where!

Fox: In the Field Of Miracles in the Land of Fools.

Pinocchio: How?

Cat: You must dig a hole, put your money into it, water it and wait till the next morning.

Fox: It will grow like a tree and there will be many coins like leaves on the tree.

Pinocchio: Great! Let’s go! But where is the Field of miracles?

Cat: We will show you the way.

Storyteller: So, very cunning Fox and Cat decided to get Pinocchio’s money.

Fox: It’s just near here. Go straight and you will find the place.

Cat: And we will go and help other people.

Storyteller: Silly Pinocchio put his money in the hole, watered it and went to bed.When Pinocchio fell asleep, Fox and Cat begin to share the money.

Cat: Give me the money!

Fox: Let’s share! This is my! That is yours. This is my! That is yours! This is my!

Cat: You’ve deceived me!

Pinocchio: Give my coins back!

Storyteller: So, very cunning Fox and Cat decided to pull little trustful Pinocchio into the river. That’s how he found himself in the river. He can’t be drown because he was made of wood. A Turtle saved him.

Turtle: Poor little silly Pinocchio! You are so trustful!

Pinocchio: Why do you call me silly?

Turtle: I am 300 years, and I have seen many little boys and girls are made fools when they don’t want to go to school. But I want to help you. I will give you the Golden Key.

Pinocchio: Is it really gold?

Turtle: Yes, it is. And it is not only gold, it is magic too. An old man with a long beard lost it.

Pinocchio: May be, it was Showman!

Turtle: May be! He is a very bad man, and I don’t want to return it to him. He said that there is a magic door and you can open it with this golden key.

Pinocchio: Thank you very much! I will save it and be sure I will not allow the bad man to have the key.

Storyteller: So, our boy, who was very happy to have the golden key run home, but there was a forest and he had lost his way. Suddenly Fairy appears.

Pinocchio: Oh, where am I? Where is my Father?

Fairy: What’s the matter with you?

Pinocchio: I’ve lost my way home.

Fairy: May be you don’t listen to your Father.

Pinocchio: Oh.yes, but I tried.

Fairy: Now, let’s try to be a good puppet once more, and everything will be OK.Goodbye.

Storyteller: Pinocchio was very happy, and he wants to be a good boy very much. But he saw a very beautiful house.

Pinocchio: Oh, such a nice house! May be, I’ll find here friends!

Storyteller: In this house Girl with the Blue Hair and her dog Artemon live, and Harlequin came there when he ran away from the Showman’s Theatre. Pinocchio came into the house and see Harlequin, Artemon, and Girl with Blue Hair. They are all happy.

Girl: Hello Pinocchio!

Pinocchio: Hello, friends! I am very glad to see you!

Harlequin: Are you hungry?

Artemon: We are having lunch now.

Punchinello: Sit and eat with us.

Girl: Do you want to have some tea?

Pinocchio: Yes, and I want to take these 4 sweets.

Punchinello: But you took 5 sweets, not 4.

Girl: Yes, do you go to school?

Pinocchio: No, I wanted, but I saw The Great Puppet Show and went there.

Punchinello: It’s so bad. Little boys and girls must go to school.

Harlequin: Silly children can’t be good actors.

Pinocchio: I want to be an actor and I want to study. May be my magic golden key will help me!

Girl: What is it? Is it really magic?

Pinocchio: I don’t know, but a turtle said that an old angry man with a long beard lost it.

Harlequin: I know what it is! Showman is the man with a long beard, and he had that key.

Punchinello: It is a golden key, which opens a magic door back from a drawing fireplace.

Artemon: But Showman had a key, but he didn’t know where is the drawing fireplace.

Pinocchio: I know where it is. In my Father’s room!

Girl: Is it true? Let’s go there as quickly as we can.

Storyteller: At that time Showman and his friend learned that Pinocchio had a key, and they decided to catch him.

Showman :Look! Here is Pinocchio!

Fox: And he has the golden key!

Cat: Catch him!

They sing a song, and after it Showman is near the tree and Fox and Cat ran away because they are afraid of Dog

Punchinello: Friends! Be quick!

Harlequin: Let’s go to Pinocchio’s Father

Artemon: Let’s find the magic fireplace.

Pinocchio: It’s nearly here! My dear Father! I am so glad to see you!

Father: My dear Pinocchio! You are alive!

Girl: Look here! Pinocchio has the golden key!

Punchinello: It can open the door back from a drawing fireplace.

Artemon: And it is a magic door!

Father: Let’s run and open the door.

Pinocchio: Father! Look! It is theatre!

Harlequin: And we can act here!

Punchinello: Without our angry showman!

Girl: We can act good and funny plays.

All: We are so happy.

Boy: Hurry up! Hurry up! The Great Puppet Show begins!

“Snow Queen”

Scene1

Gerda: Hello boys and girls! This is my brother. We live here with our Granny. My name is Gerda.

Kay: And my name is Kay.

Gerda: What is it?

Kay: Our Granny is going here, but why is she knocking?Let’s frighten her.

Gerda: OK.

(A woman enters)

Kay: Bow-wow-wow!

Gerda: Miaow – miaow!

Woman: Children, why are you shouting?

Gerda: We are sorry, we think you are our Granny.

(Granny enters)

Granny: My dear children!

Woman: Good morning!

Ganny: Good morning, ! Who are you?

Woman: I’m a noble woman! I want to buy the roses.

Granny: I don’t sell the roses. We like them very much.

Woman: Why? I’m the famous person! I’m very rich! I sell ice! I know the Snow Queen! I can buy anything!

Granny: They are not for sale.

Woman: Well, I am leaving, but I  will tell the Snow Queen about you!

Kay: What an angry woman!

Gerda: Granny, who is the Snow Queen?

Granny: The Snow  Queen lives in the North! She is very beautiful but very cruel!

(The Snow Queen appears)

The Snow Queen: Have you ever seen the Mystic Queen

Riding in her limousine

Over hills and dates till morning

If you like I’ll take you there

Find some colours you can wear.

Colours that you ‘ve only seen while sleeping.

Kay: Oh! Who are you!

Snow Queen: I am the Snow Queen. Cood morning!

Granny: Good morning! Sit down, please!.

Snow Queen : No! It is very hot for me. You are very nice but old and poor.  And you have 2 children. I am very rich but alone. So I want to take this boy with me!

Kay: What? Granny! I don’t want to go with her!

Gerda: Granny! Don’t give Kay to her!

Snow Queen: Kay! You ‘ll be my son! You will live in the nice place!

Kay: I don’t want!

(The Snow Queen touches Kay with her magic wand.)

Kay: I don’t want to live in this poor house! I’m leaving! Goodbye!

Scene 2:

Gerda: What can I do? Who can help me? Yes, I must do it myself, I will find him.

Gerda: I’m very tired, and what is it? It is a beautiful garden. There are too many beautiful flowers!

Flower 1: Hello, dear girl! Who are you?

Gerda: Hello, beautiful flower! I’m Gerda!

 Flower: You are very tired. Have a little rest!

Gerda: Oh, thank you!

Flower 1: You are very sad, but I want everyone to be happy. I  like to sing songs. Let's have fun together

Flower 1: And most of all I like to narrate fairy-tales. Do you like fairy-tales, Gerda?

Gerda: Yes, I do.

Flower 1: I can tell you a story about the Snow Queen. She lives in her snow castle, and she is very cruel. She charms little children and takes them to her castle! No one returns from her.

Gerda: The Snow Queen! Little boys and girls! Oh, my dear brother Kay! I must save him! I must go!

Flower: Goodbye, dear girl!!!

Scene 3

Crow: Caw! Caw! Caw! Good morning, young lady!

Gerda: Good morning!

Crow: Where are you going, young lady?

Gerda: I am looking for my brother Kay.

Crow: It's the name of our prince! Let’s go  and you'll see your brother!

Gerda: Oh, thank you very much.

(In the palace. Prince and princess are playing hopscotch)

Prince: Stop playing this game, Elsa! I'm tired of playing hopscotch. Let's play another game.

Princess: Let's play hide-and-seek!

Prince: OK. You hide and I  count!

(Princess is running around the room. She sees Gerda and shrieks)

Princess: Who is there?

Prince: Is it a rat?

Princess: It's a girl and a crow.

Prince: What are you doing here, young lady? Why are you crying?

Gerda: I am Gerda. I'm crying because you are not my brother.

Prince: Don't cry! We'll help you! Where are you going?

Gerda: I'm going to the North. I must find the Snow Queen!

Princess: It's a long way!

Prince: We'll give you a carriage!

Princess: And I'll give you a coat, a muff and boots. Gerda, Take my clothes!

(She gives the clothes.)

Gerda: Thank you very much!

Scene 4

(The robbers appear on the stage and perform the robbers' dance.)

Robber 1: Look what we've got!

Robber 2: Here is a gold carriage!

Robber 1: And this is the girl from the carriage!

Robber2: How nice she is! I think she will be very tasty!

Gerda: Don't kill me, please! Let me go!

Robber 1: What a silly girl! Ha-ha-ha!

Gerda: Dear robbers! Please let me go! Kay will die without me!

Robber2: I'm going to eat you!

Little Robber Girl: Don't touch her! She will be mine! She will play with me! Give me your muff and your hat! What's your name?

Gerda: I'm Gerda. You can take my clothes but I'll be cold when I get to the Snow Queen.

Little Girl Robber: No! You won't go there! You will live with me! Look what I've got! Come, come here quickly!

(The Reindeer appears)

Little Girl Robber: Gerda, look how funny he is!

Gerda: Don't hurt him, please!

Little Robber Girl: Why? I like when it is afraid of me.

Gerda: May I ask him a question?

Little Robber Girl: Yes, you may.

Gerda: Tell me, deer! Did you live in the North?

Reindeer: Oh, yes!

Gerda: Have you ever seen the Snow Queen?

Reindeer: Yes, I have. She had a little boy with her! He was white with cold. She called him Kay.

Gerda: He has seen her. He is my brother. Dear girl! Let me go! I must save Kay! He will die in the North.

Reindeer: Do let her go! I'll take Gerda to the Snow Queen's Kingdom.

Little Girl Robber: All right! There is nothing to be done. I won't give you your muff! I like it.

Reindeer: Thank you!

Little Robber Girl: Good luck, Gerda!

Gerda: Goodbye!

Scene 5

Gerda: Is this the kingdom of the Snow Queen?

Reindeer: Yes, it is. I can't go farther. You must remember, the Snow Queen is very cruel!

Gerda: I must go there! Thank you, my dear friend!

(In the palace: Kay is on the icy throne.)

Gerda: Kay, Kay! Are you frozen? Answer me!

Kay:Gerda! Don’t touch me, I’m making a word out of icicles.

Gerda: Kay, let’s go home! It's spring there. The sky is blue, the sun is shining, the birds are singing.

The Snow Queen: What are you doing here, girl?

Gerda: I am his sister. I come to save him.

Kay: I am cold, Gerda. Is it you? What's the matter? I can walk!

Gerda: Go home, my dear brother.

Snow Queen: No,he will live with me!

Gerda: We are not afraid of you now!

The Snow Queen: Oh, no. What’s the matter with me? I’m melting!

Gerda: Let's go! We will get home.

Scene 6

Gerda: Dear Kay, we are at home now.

Granny: How beautiful flowers! And where is our Granny? I want to see her very much!

Granny: My dear boy, you are here. I‘m so happy.
