Уважаемые студенты!

Предлагаем вам Рабочую тетрадь по иностранному языку (английский). Рабочая тетрадь содержит учебный материал II курса I семестра в соответствии с рабочим тематическим планом на основе Федерального государственного образовательного стандарта среднего полного общего образования.

1) Необходимо изучить теоретический грамматический материал и выполнить все грамматические упражнения, предложенные в Рабочей тетради.

2) Необходимо изучить новую лексику по устным разговорным темам и выполнить лексические упражнения.

3) Рабочая тетрадь содержит 2 текста для чтения и перевода со словарем. Чтение и перевод текста сдаются лично преподавателю в назначенное время.

4) Используя в качестве образца тексты для чтения и перевода необходимо составить 2 монологических высказывания (минимум 20 предложений) по темам "My Family" и "My Friend". Устные темы сдаются лично преподавателю в назначенное время.

Рабочая тетрадь с выполненными в ней упражнениями сдается преподавателю на проверку. По результатам проверки Рабочей тетради, чтения и перевода текстов, устного собеседования студент получает зачет за 1 семестр.

График представления работ

Рабочая тетрадь с выполненными в ней упражнениями, монолог, чтение и перевод текстов сдается преподавателю до 20 декабря.

My Family

        The most important thing in my life is my family. I can speak about my family for hours. My family consists of 7 members: my mother, my father, my sister, my brother, my grandfather, my grandmother and me.

My name is Oleg. I am sixteen years old and I study at school. My Mummy is forty-five and she is lovely. She is an economist and she works at a bank. My Dad is forty-seven and he is a professional painter, he works for a design company. My parents both like their work very much. My elder sister Ann is twenty-six. She doesn’t live with our family. She is married. She has a family of her own: a husband and a child. Her husband is a doctor. He works at large hospital. My younger brother Igor is only six, he goes to the kindergarten. He is fond of reading fairy tales. He likes to play with our cat.

        My grandparents are retired. My grandfather is sixty-nine, but he is still very handsome. My Granny is sixty-eight. She is a very nice, kind and loving grandmother. They like gardening.                         My Friend Marina

        I would like to tell you about my friends. I have a lot of friends but my close friend is Marina. She is in the same year as me. We have been studying together for 6 months. She is 18 years old. We have nothing in common in appearance. Marina is pretty in her own way. She is thin and slender, not very tall. Her hair is red and straight, her face is oval and her forehead is high. She has a turn-up nose and beautiful green eyes with bushy eyelashes. Marina is as good as gold. She is warm-hearted and gentle, quiet and well-bred. Everyone loves her. She is always well dressed and neat. She is always ready to help people when they are in need. Marina is the only daughter of her parents. She knows a lot of interesting stories, funny jokes. She is fond of reading. Marina goes in for sport. She plays tennis and swims. We always meet at the weekends. We discuss books, listen to the music or visit our friends. I always enjoy the time spent together. I’m happy to have such a friend as Marina. I’m sure we will be friends forever.

                                        My Friend John

        To begin with, a man can have different friends. The English say that man’s best friend is his dog. Sometimes we say that books are our best friends. I know a few persons for whom books are the best and the only friends.

        I think I am not a person who makes friends too quickly or too easily. I fully agree that the old friend is better than the two new ones. To my mind, a friend is a person dear to you, whom you trust and respect.

        I am lucky to have got such a friend as John. I made friends with him in the kindergarten and our friendship has been lasting since.

        At first I should like to tell you a few words about John’s appearance. He is handsome boy, with beautiful chestnut hair and bright wide-opened hazel eyes.

        You need just to have a look at him to understand that he is a kind, sincere and open-hearted boy. He is lively and amusing. He is constantly the centre of attention. If he promises something, he always keeps his word. I am sure he will never let me down.

        We have many common interests. We both like reading books, going to the football matches, playing hockey and volleyball. We both dream to become physicians. Moreover, our tastes do not differ, in fact, they are the same.

        John often helps me with my math as he does better than me at college. He is very good in all subjects but physics, and I am glad I can help him to solve the problems.

        Sometimes he is too quick to get angry and too slow to cool down. When he loses his temper, it is better to keep away from him. In fact, any person has certain drawbacks, and neither he nor I are the exceptions from this general rule. But we do our best not to permit them to interfere with our friendship which I hope will last forever.
