Уважаемые студенты!

Предлагаем вам Рабочую тетрадь по иностранному языку (английский). Рабочая тетрадь содержит учебный материал II курса II семестра в соответствии с примерным тематическим планом на основе Федерального государственного образовательного стандарта среднего полного общего образования.

1) Необходимо изучить теоретический грамматический материал и выполнить все грамматические упражнения, предложенные в Рабочей тетради.

2) Необходимо изучить новую лексику по устным разговорным темам и выполнить лексические упражнения.

3) Рабочая тетрадь содержит 2 текста для чтения и перевода со словарем. Чтение и перевод текста сдаются лично преподавателю в назначенное время.

4) Используя в качестве образца тексты для чтения и перевода необходимо составить 2 монологических высказывания (минимум 20 предложений) по темам "My Flat" и "My College". Устные темы сдаются лично преподавателю в назначенное время.

Рабочая тетрадь с выполненными в ней упражнениями сдается преподавателю на проверку. По результатам проверки Рабочей тетради, чтения и перевода текстов, устного собеседования студент получает зачет за 2 семестр.

График представления работ

Рабочая тетрадь с выполненными в ней упражнениями, монолог, чтение и перевод текстов сдается преподавателю до 27 мая.

Our Flat

Our house is a short walk from the trolleybus stop. We live in panel house on the fourth floor. Our flat has all modern conveniences: central heating, gas, electricity, running cold and hot water, telephone, a lift and chute. Our flat consists of three rooms, kitchen, bathroom and a hall.

First there is a small hall with a mirror and small table with a telephone on it.

The three rooms of our flat are: living-room, bedroom, my study. The floor is parquet in the rooms and linoleum in the kitchen. There is a thick carpet in the living-room on the floor. All the rooms are papered with wallpaper of a different pattern and colour.

The living-room is the largest and most comfortable room in the flat. It's a large room with a balcony. In the middle of the room there is a table with some chairs around it. There is a sofa with two armchairs and low table with a TV-set on the left-hand side of the room. On the right-hand side there is a cupboard. There is a bookcase near it.

The bedroom is smaller and not so light. There are two beds, a wardrobe, and a dressing-table.

The room I like best is my study. It is nice and cosy. It has a bed, a desk and an armchair. In. the right-hand corner there is a bookcase full of books, magazine, newspapers.

The kitchen is handily arranged: there is a gas-stove, a fridge, a deep sink, built-in cupboards and a table that folds against the wall when not in use.

I like our flat very much.

3.3. Grammar: Времена группы “Simple”.

Present Simple употребляется:

- для выражения повторяющегося действия:

I go to the university every day. – Я хожу в университет каждый день.

- для выражения действия, свойственного, присущего лицу или предмету: They are best friends. – Они лучшие друзья.

She doesn’t like reading. – Она не любит читать.

С Present Simple употребляются такие наречия как

usually – обычно, sometimes – иногда,

often – часто, seldom – редко

always – всегда, never – никогда и т.д.

словосочетания  every day – каждый день, every evening – каждый вечер и т.д.

Past Simple используется для выражения действия, которое совершалось или совершилось в прошлом. Это время употребляется в повествовании для:

- констатации какого-либо факта:

He finished his report last week. – Он закончил свой доклад на прошлой неделе.

- для изложения последовательности событий:

She went to the shop and bought some interesting books. – Она пошла в магазин и купила несколько интересных книг.

С Past Simple употребляются такие обстоятельства времени как

yesterday – вчера, last month – в прошлом месяце,

last – в последний раз, three years (10 days) ago – три года (десять дней) назад, in 1980 – в 1980 году и т.п.

Future Simple употребляется для выражения однократного или ряда последовательныx действий в будущем.

He will finish school next year. – Он закончит школу в следующем году.

They will come and tell me everything. – Они придут и все мне расскажут.

С Future Simple употребляются обстоятельства времени:

tomorrow – завтра, next week – на следующей неделе,

in a week – через неделю и др.

My Working Day

Hello. My name is Makar Zajtsev and I am a college student. I am in my first year now. I want to tell you about my usual working day.

         It usually begins at six o’clock sharp. I usually wake up by alarm clock. But as I often keep late hours sometimes my mother has to wake me up. After getting up I make my bed. I’m fond of jogging that is why whatever the weather might be I leave the house at half past six and jog in the park which is near our house.

        At a quarter past seven I am back and go to the bathroom to have a shower. I clean my teeth, then come back to my room and switch on the television to watch the news while I am brushing my hair, shaving and putting my clothes on.

Now it is time for breakfast. All my family is at table — my mother, my father and myself. We have scrambled eggs and bacon, a cup tea and sandwiches. People say breakfast should be the most substantial meal of the day, but I don’t like to eat much in the morning, a couple of sandwiches with tea are enough for me. We chat and discuss news. I think it is right time to introduce my family members to you. My mother's name is Mary. She is a children's doctor. My father's name is Alexander and he is an engineer.

After breakfast I look through my notes — just in case I have left something behind, put on my coat, then say good-bye to my mother and leave home. My father gives me a lift to the college in his car. He starts working later than my classes begin.

I arrive at my college just in time to say hello to my fellow-students before the bell goes. As a rule, we have three or four periods every day. We go to college five days a week. Saturday and Sunday are our days off. We have lectures and seminars. Sometimes we work in the workshops. To my mind, these are the most interesting lessons. My friends say that we will be having a test in English today. I think that writing tests in grammar is more difficult than speaking English. I hope I won't fail.

At 1 pm we have a long break. We go to the canteen and have a roll and a cup of juice. Then there is one more period, which is Mathematics. It is my favourite subject. The classes are over at 2.40 pm. Sometimes I go to the library to study there, but today I don't.

        I come to my place at about 4 pm. Mother is already at home. She is cooking in the kitchen. Soon my father arrives and we have dinner together. After dinner I do my lessons for tomorrow. At ten o’clock I finish preparing my lessons and have some spare time which I usually spend on either reading a book or watching TV. I go to bed at about 11.30 pm. rather unwillingly but fall asleep in some minutes.

1. Grammar: Времена группы “Continuous”.

Present Continuous используется для выражения действия, совершающегося в момент речи:

What are you doing? – I am reading.Что ты делаешь? – Я читаю.

Употребляется со словами, обозначающими момент речи, такими как

now – сейчас, at this moment – в настоящий момент и т.д.

Past Continuous употребляется для выражения действия, происходившего в определенный момент или период времени в прошлом:

I was waiting for you at 5 o’clock yesterday. – Я ждал вас в 5 часов вчера.

Момент совершения действия может быть ясен из контекста или обозначен:

- точным указанием времени (часа):

I was watching TV at 10 o’clock yesterday. – Вчера в 10 часов я смотрел телевизор.

- определенным периодом времени в прошлом:

I was writing a report the whole day yesterday. – Вчера я целый день писал доклад.

- другим действием: I was writing a report when you came. – Я писал доклад, когда ты пришел.

Future Continuous используется для выражения действия, которое будет совершаться (находиться в процессе развития) в определенный момент в будущем:

 At 10 o’clock tomorrow he will be having an exam. – Завтра в 10 часов он будет сдавать экзамен.

Примечание:

Во временах группы Continuous не употребляются глаголы, выражающие чувства, умственную деятельность, а также некоторые другие. К этим глаголам относятся: to want – хотеть, to like – нравиться, to love – любить, to hate – ненавидеть, to wish – желать, to see – видеть, to hear – слышать, to feel – чувствовать, to know – знать, to understand – понимать, to remember – помнить, to forget – забывать, to be – быть, to possess – владеть и др.
