People all over the world are fond of sports and games.
Sport makes people healthy, keeps them fit, more organized and better disciplined.
It unites people of different classes and nationalities. Many people do sports on their personal initiative. They go in for skiing, skating, table tennis, swimming, volley-ball, football, body-building, etc.
I interviewed 20 students in my class about what they do to keep fit and stay healthy.
Here are the results:
- Only 25% of students do sports 2-3 times a week outside our school.
- 75% of students do sports only 3 times a week during their PE lessons at school.
- 90% of students sleep 8-10 hours at night
- 20% of students do their morning exercises every day.
- Most of my classmates try to keep healthy diet but they eat junk food 2-3 times a week.
In order to keep fit I advise you the following:
- Do your morning exercises every day.
- Try to do sports regularly.
- Sleep 8-10 hours a day to stay energetic.
- Try to keep a healthy diet.
- Avoid eating junk food.
- Stay active and energetic.
If you want to stay healthy you can start doing individual sports, such as walking swimming, cycling, aerobics or join a fitness centre. There are many sports facilities in our town.
Here are the most popular ones:
- “Younost” sports center
- “Albatros” fitness center
- “Albatros” skating rink
- “Edelveis” fitness center
- “Trudovye reservy” stadium
- “Baltika” stadium
- “Yantarny” sports center
You should also join a sport club at school. Our school provides football club, volleyball club, basketball club and martial arts club.
