Тема: Письма в молодежный журнал

Цель урока: формирование лексических навыков по теме «Конфликты и их разрешение»

Задачи:  научить высказываться по теме «Решение конфликтов»

воспитать уважительное отношение друг к другу

развивать навыки аудирования, говорения и письма

Тип урока: комбинированный

Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, экран, учебник, классная доска, раздаточный материал.

Ход урока:

  1. Организационный момент. Введение в тему

- Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. Sit down.

- How are you? Everybody is alright, so let’s start our lesson. Today we’ll continue to speak about conflict and conflict resolution. So at first answer my questions please.

  1. Речевая зарядка
  1. What is conflict?
  2. Do you have conflicts?
  3. What kind of conflicts may be?
  4. Is it necessary to prevent conflict?
  5. How to prevent conflict? We’ll study about it later and will find its resolution.

  1. Фонетическая разминка
  • Now tell me some verbs about conflict. <…> You can see some of them at the screen. Let’s repeat them after me. Find the words with their opposite meaning.

  1. Развитие навыков чтения с пониманием основного содержания
  • Now open your books at page 127, ex. 81. Let’s read the letters of two young people, Diana and Frank. And say whose ideas were those:
  1. Even if people are different, it doesn’t mean that they can’t get along.
  2. When you try to resolve a conflict, choose your words very carefully.

(Дети читают письма и разбирают идеи)

  • The next task for you is ex. 82, p.127. Look through the letters and complete the sentences using the information from them. - письменно

(Ученики заполняют пропуски в предложениях, пользуясь письмами. Затем зачитывают.)

Dear friends, now imagine that you have your pen friend from Great Britain and he sent you a letter about his problem with his family.

Let’s read this letter and do the next task. You should say about these sentences. Read these sentences. Do you remember all words in this exercise?

Dear friend,

I’d like to tell you about conflicts in my family. Conflict is a natural thing in our life. I have conflicts with my elder brother. He doesn’t clean the room, doesn’t throw away rubbish, doesn’t walk with a dog. He plays the computer games only. I can’t understand his action. We constantly argue because I don’t want to do it along.

Have you got brother or sister? Have you got conflicts with your family? I don’t know how I can live with him. Give me advice, please.

  • We learnt about how to prevent conflicts and to give advices.
  • We have spoken about problems.

I’m sure you’ll do everything to prevent any family conflicts. Let’s have a friendly and understanding family! Don’t forget the advices you found out.
