Ход урока

1. Good afternoon, children! I’m glad to see you!How are you today? First of all, I suggest you watch some video and guess what we are going to speak about at our lesson. (Просмотр видеоролика)

2. What have you seen?
Tell me, please, what the topic of our lesson is?
The topic of our lesson is “Our planet”. (Cлайд с названием урока)
What do we know about our planet?

3. Who has the passport? Our planet has a passport too. Look! Let’s complete the passport of our planet. Fill in the gaps.

4. We are the people who live on the Earth. Do you think, we always do something for saving our planet, or we destroy our planet?
What can we do for our planet?(слайд)

Take care of the environment!

• Do not pick wild flowers.
• Do not litter the ground with cans, paper, bottles.
• Do not frighten animals.
• Do not harm plants.
• Feed birds and help them.
• Plant trees and flowers.
• Recycle used materials such as metal, bottles and paper.
• Help to keep all water clean.

5. Answer the following questions. (на каждый вопрос слайд с картинкой в помощь отвечающему)

• Why have many species of birds and animals disappeared?
• What is the air polluted by?
• Are rivers polluted?
• Why are forests disappearing all over the world?
• Can you see pollution at the seaside?
• People are in danger, aren’t they?

6. You see, our planet is in danger. And let’s think what we can do to save our planet. Do you know? Listen to the dialogue please, understand, and answer my question. What can we do to save our planet? Are you ready? Let’s start.
Listen and fill in the gaps with the correct word.

Dave:  Hi Tim. What’s up?
Tim: Oh, hi Dave! ...?
Dave: Oh, I’ve joined the Eco-helpers club.
Tim: Oh yeah, I’ve heard about that. Sally … in the park every Saturday morning, doesn’t?
Dave: That’s right. She’s been doing that for a month. I’ve been building nesting boxes.
Tim: … ?
Dave: Well, there aren’t many trees left in the city for birds to build their nests. If we don’t help them, they will have to leave the city.
Tim: That’s interesting. What else have you been doing?
Dave: We’ve been … and cleaning out ponds for a week now that the weather’s good.
Tim: Your club sounds wonderful. I could join as well, couldn’t I?
Dave: Of course you could. We …, but you have to see Miss Jackson first. She’ll tell you what to do.
Tim: Sounds great! I’ll join first thing Monday morning.

You can see that our planet is in our hands. Whether our planet is green and clean or it’s dark and full of rubbish – it is our choice. We must do something to save the Earth. Our life will be better.

10.And now let’s say what each of us can do to save our planet.(Передаём глобус по кругу и говорим,что каждый из нас может сделать для нашей планеты)
