Разработка урока по английскому языку в 5 классе по  учебнику М.З. Биболетовой «Английский с удовольствием»

Урок  по теме « Моя семья»

 Цель урока:  обучение коммуникативному чтению и закрепление лексических навыков по теме «Семья, черты характера, профессии» .

Задачи урока.                                                                                                           Развивающие задачи:                                                                                                               2. Развитие памяти, речи и внимания;

Воспитательные задачи:                                                                                                    1. Воспитание чувства любви и уважения  к членам своей семьи и к одноклассникам.                  

Учебные задачи:                                                                                                    1. Закрепление и развитие лексических навыков на уровне свободного высказывания в виде монологической и диалогической речи.                                                                                                                                   2. Развитие умения читать с нахождением конкретной информации  в тексте и понимать речь учителя и одноклассников.

Оборудование: компьютер; мультимедийный проектор,  интерактивная доска                                                                                                                          Оснащение урока: Презентации «Моя семья», « Моя вторая семья» ,                    листы с текстами, значки со смайликами

План урока

1. Приветствие. Сообщение цели урока, темы. 

II. Основная часть урока      

1. Фонетическая зарядка.                                                                                           Работа с лексикой и прилагательными (слайды).                                                                                                    

2. Чтение с нахождением нужной информации.                                                      Заполнить таблицу.

3. Развитие устной монологической речи.                                                             Учащиеся рассказывают о своей семье, используя презентацию.                                  Рассказывают стихотворение “Our family comes from around the world”                                                                                                                              

4. Развитие устной диалогической речи.                                                                                         Диалоги учащихся  

5. Развитие навыков аудирования.                                                                                                   Загадки о семье.  

6. Отработка и закрепление лексики по теме «Профессии»                                                           Работа по слайдам.

7.Объяснение домашнего задания и подведение итогов урока.                                                                              

Ход урока

1. Приветствие. Сообщение цели урока, темы.

 T: Good morning, children!                                                                                                                                            Cl: – Good morning! Good morning!                                                                                                                       Good morning to you!                                                                                                                         Good morning dear teacher!                                                                                                               We are glad to see you.                                                                                                                                T:  I am glad to see you too. Sit down, please. Today we have unusual lesson because we are going to travel by train. We won’t travel around the world. We’ll travel to the land of your knowledge. II.  Основная часть урока                                                                                                  T: The first station is “Words”.  Read the words together, find the odd word and underline it.                                                                                                                           1. Task: Find the odd word (интерактивная доска)

Station “Reading”

Variant 1.                           My family

My name is Pete. I am twelve years old. I am a pupil. I like playing chess and dancing. I live in England with my mother, father and a younger sister.                                                                                                My mother is a teacher of English. Her name is Jane. She knows three languages and she reads, writes and speaks them very well. She works at school and she likes her work very much. She likes listening to music and collecting books.                         My father is a driver. His name is Henry. He works from morning till late at night. He likes repairing cars.                                                                                                                                                 My younger sister is four years old. Her name is Ann. She goes to the kindergarten and likes playing with her dolls.

Task: Read the text, find the necessary information and fill in the table.

Variant 2.                                 My family

My name is Masha. I am ten years old. I am a pupil in the fifth form. I like drawing and singing. I live in Russia with my mother, father and a cat.  I have neither a sister nor a brother.                                                                                                               My mother’s name is Olga. She is thirty-two. She is an office worker and works in a bank. She usually goes to work at 9 o’clock. She is at the bank from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. My Mum likes reading and going to the theatre.                                                                                                                                 My father is an engineer. His name is Vladimir. He is thirty-six. He likes collecting stamps and coins. I help him to collect stamps too.                                                                                                                                               My cat’s name is Pushok. It is three months. It is funny and naughty and I like playing with it very much. Pushok likes to run, jump and play with a small ball.

        Variant 3.               My family    

 My name is Tom. I am eleven. I am from America. My hobby is swimming.              I go to a small swimming –pool twice a week. I have a mother, a father and an elder brother.                                                                                                                                                         My Mum’s name is Mary. She is a housewife. She likes cooking. She cooks tasty dishes. Sometimes I help her when she makes cakes and she helps me to do my homework.                                                                                                                    My Dad’s name is Mike. He is a doctor. He likes his work very much. When he has free time he likes watching TV and reading newspapers.                                                                                                                                                            My elder brother’s name is Jack. He is sixteen. He is a student. My elder brother likes music and he plays the guitar. He is going to be a musician.

Task: Read the text, find the necessary information and fill in the table.

Учащиеся делятся на три группы, и каждая группа получает свой текст. Они читают текст 3-5 минут, заполняя при этом таблицу. Затем одна группа читает данные о членах семьи в таблице, а другие слушают информацию и отвечают на вопросы учителя об этой семье.

4. We are typical Russian family. We are close and we get on well with each other. I have got a grandmother, a grandfather, a mother, a father and an elder brother.                                                                                                                         My brother’s name is Maxim. He is a pupil in the 10th form. He is sociable, curious and has a good sense of humour. His hobby is playing computer games. He likes playing football and tennis. We get on well with each other.                                                                                                          These are my granny and grandpa. They are caring and loving. I like to talk and play with my grandparents. They are cool. I love them very much.                                                                                                                              My mother’s name is Yevgenia. She is my best friend. She is kind, hospitable and creative. She works at school. My mummy helps me to do my homework. I also help her about the house.                                                                                                                    My father’s name is Gennady. He is a farmer. He is polite, responsible and funny.   I like to play with my dad. I like to dance and sing. I often take part in different competitions and my family helps me to win them. I love my family very much.

Our family is not large. There are four of us: my mother, my father, my sister and me. My mother’s name is Elena. She is a headteacher of kindergarten. She is kind, sociable and attractive. She likes reading books.                                                                                                                  My father’s name is Igor. He is a farmer. He is responsible, friendly and curious. My father and I like playing snowballs and tobogganing in winter. I help him to work in the garden and he helps me to collect planes and ships.                                                                                                                              My elder sister’s name is Christina. She is a student. She is serious and hardworking. When she is at home, she helps me to do my homework.                                                     I have got a grandfather and a grandmother. They live next to us. I visit them every day. My granny is a teacher, grandpa is a pensioner. They are loving and very kind.                                                                                 At the weekends all the members of my family like to watch TV in the evening. Sometimes we go to a concert in Rostov-on-Don. I think my family is close and caring. I love my family.

I want to tell you about my second family. It is my class. There are 15 of us: 7 girls and 8 boys. I think our class is friendly and sociable. We help each other to do homework. We like doing sports, dancing and singing. Many of my classmates take part in different sport and cultural competitions. We like to arrange picnics and parties together. Sometimes our boys tease us, but they are not rude. I think we’ll get along well for ever. I love my classmates.

What are your main characteristics?                                                                                                                                                                                 4. Have you got any brothers or sisters?                                                                                                   5. Do you get on well with them?

 6. Station “Riddles”

T: Now I’ll read you some riddles. You must listen to me attentively and guess them.

1. Who is your mother’s mother to you?                                                                                                      2. Who is your father’s sister to you?                                                                                                                          3. Who is your mother’s brother to you?                                                                                                                                                           4. Your father’s father is your grandfather. Your mother’s mother is your grandmother. Who are your sister’s mother and father to you?                                                                                       5. Who is your mother’s daughter to you?                                                                                            6. Who is your father’s son to you?                                                                                                                                  7. He is your parents’ son. He is 5 years younger than you. Who is this?

T: Last lesson we introduced with the words that mean professions. Let’s remember them. Repeat after me, please. Now match the pictures and the words.                                Учащиеся соотносят слова и картинки по теме «Профессия».
