Тема урока:   Have you ever been to London?  - Вы когда-либо были  в Лондоне?

Цели урока:

- закрепление грамматического материала по теме «The Present Perfect Tense»,

- обучение коммуникативному общению по теме Лондон,

- ознакомление со страноведческим материалом по теме «Лондон. Достопримечательности».

Тип урока: урок комплексного закрепления знаний, умений и навыков.

Ход урока

I. Организационный этап. Приветствие.

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls! Sit down please!

We begin our lesson! What’s the date today?

Who is absent today? We continue our topic “Town life. London”

We’ll make dialogue, repeat grammar material (Past Simple and Present Perfect), do some exercises and speak about London. Are you ready?

Good! Let’s start the work!

II. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: Let’s do some phonetic drills. Let’s pronounce some tongue twisters. Pay attention to the pronunciation.

T: While learning the topic, we have read several texts about London and know something about it, haven’t we? Let’s try to find the answers:

3. This person is the main in England. It is the Head of State. Queen
4. What square is the most famous in London? Trafalgar
5. What river is situated in the historical center of London? Thames

London is the capital of the UK. It is a very old city. It was founded about two thousand years ago. London is one of the most  famous  and interesting cities in Europe.  There are lots of  places  to visit in London. There are a lot of  museums , art galleries , cinemas, theatres and hundreds  of  parks in London.
