1. Совершенствование грамматических навыков.
2. Введение нового лексического материала и формирование навыков его использования в рамках изучаемой темы
3. Совершенствование произносительных навыков

1. Организационный момент.

Приветствие учеников, проверка отсутствующих.

Учитель: Good morning! How are you? Who is absent today?

^ 2. Фонетическая зарядка:

3.1 Дотекстовый этап.

Учитель: Kristina, have you got a boy-friend? Where do you go together? Who else has a boy-friend or girl-friend?

Ученики: отвечают.

Учитель: To go somewhere with your friend you should firstly date this person. What is it date? To date? The topic of our discussion today is «dating». Pay attention to the frame on page 116. Pavel, please, read us, what is written there.

Учитель: Now let’s read together about differences in the dating customs of the English-speaking countries.

^ 3.2 Текстовый этап.

Ученики читают по очереди небольшие отрывки из упражнения 1, страница 116.

Учитель: Now read the text on page 116 one by one/

3.3 Послетекстовый этап.

Учитель: Now let’s check up your understanding of the text we’ve just read. I give you three minutes for doing this test. (Приложение №1) Учитель предлагает ученикам тест по тексту (Multiple choice). Затем проверяются ответы.

Учитель: Now, please, pay your attention to the funny pictures on page 117. What do think about the meaning of this idioms? Let me provide you a small situation for each picture and then you’ll tell me its meaning. (^ Приложение №2). Учитель читает ситуации-дефиниции к каждой из картинок со страницы 117б учащиеся догадываются о значении приведенных к картинкам идиом по контексту.

Учитель: Now, look at exercise 3 on pate 118. These teenagers are speaking about their dating experience. What dating customs do they mean? Use our idioms. Nastya, please, read the first speech.

Учащиеся читают высказывания, пытаясь определить, к какой из идиом подходит ситуация.

Учитель: Why do you think, that it’s the situation on the idiom « to go steady»? What made you think so? Read, please.

^ 4. Совершенствование грамматических навыков.

Учитель: Look at exercise 2 on page 119. Here we have two passages about dating etiquette. Now I give five minutes for filling the gaps with an appropriate verb-form. Don’t forget the fact, that the first passage about the past situation and the second one is connected with present. Write your answers in your exercise-books.

Учитель: Now let’s check it by reading the sentences one by one.

Учитель: Thank you very much. Now tell me, do you agree that today teenagers exercise more freedom in dating then the teenagers of the seventies? Why What can prove your opinion?

^ 5. Развитие умений иноязычного монологического высказывания.

Учитель: Now I have some entertainment for you. Look at page 120. Here we have several lines from a poem. In the poem the author expresses her ideas about love. Take two minutes to arrange lines in the right order.

Учитель: Let’s check what we got. Dasha, what is the first line?...second?...third?..

Учитель: Now let’s think about the end of the last line. Who can predict what words are there?

Учитель: To summarize our work today I want to listen to your opinions on what is love for you?

^ 6. Домашнее задание.

Учитель: For the next class, please, learn the words from the frame, idioms. Be ready to speak about the differences between our other countries dating customs. And be ready for the final test based on the Unit 4. Repeat, please, new words, phrases and also Past Indefinite time for the test.

I and my friend Ann have boy-friends. We both like to go with them somewhere. For example, on weekends we are fond of going to the cinema, theater, cafes. Sometimes we date our boy-friends at the same time and go walking together.

Pete is very shy person. Recently he made friends with one girl by means of writing letters. Finally they decided to meet. So they dated to meet in a café, but it was very difficult because they didn’t know each other’s appearance.

Kate is 21. She has a boy-friend-Dan. Dan is her first boy-friend. But Kate haven’t dated someone else.
