Introduction
The course of Communicative English Teaching by V.Bandurina (on the basis of the British Council TKT Essentials) is a practical guide for teachers who want to improve their knowledge and develop their classroom skills in the area of teaching Speaking.
The course provides teachers with the opportunity
- to apply their knowledge of planning and teaching to a practical classroom situations;
- to set up and manage learning activities designed to achieve specified aims;
- to manage the classroom environment in a way that encourages learner participation.
The communicative methodology of English Teaching by V.Bandurina is a step in teachers’ professional development which enables them to move on to their higher-level teaching qualifications.

Conclusion
The worldwide demand for English has created an enormous demand for quality language teaching. The Communicative methodology, which is rapidly growing in popularity all over the world, has become the core methodology in the majority of educational institutions. There are some reasons for this popularity and the main reason is that people learn a language best when using it rather than through practicing rules.
The Communicative course by V.Bundurina has changed a lot the way of my teaching, and first of all, the roles of teachers and learners in the classroom. Learners now have to participate in classroom activities that are based on a cooperative rather than individualistic approach to learning. Students have to become comfortable with listening to their peers in group work or pair work tasks, rather than relying on the teacher for a model. They are expected to take on a greater degree of responsibility for their own learning.
