Разработка внеклассного мероприятия с использованием межпредметных связей (английский язык и экология)

“Travel and Ecology”

Цель:  обобщить знания, умения и навыки учащихся по темам: «Экология», «Путешествия», полученные на уроках английского языка.

Задача: 

образовательная:  формирование навыков речевой деятельности на базе  лексического материала, навыков аудирования;

развивающая: обучение самостоятельной работе, умение работать в группе; развитие творческого мышления;

воспитательная: воспитание бережного отношения к природе.

Ход мероприятия

Дети сидят по 5-6 человек в командах, всего 5 команд.

1. -Dear boys and girls!

Our world is magnificent. There are so many places for us to explore nowаdays we can travel by train or by plane by car or by ship. TV and Internet allow us to visit virtually different countries and see distant landscapes sitting at home in front of the computer. It’s fantastic!

8. -We want you to guess some riddles about wild animals.

9. -We can often come across these signs. What do they mean?

-You have some on your desks. Your task is to match the sign, its meaning and the Russian equivalent.

10. -If you do well, it helps you to be friendly to the nature. Our poem is about it.

The sun, the trees, the grass, the sky,

The silver moon, that’s sailing by,

The rain and dew and snowflakes white,

The flowers sweet and stars of night!

The songs of birds, wind whispering,

The autumn leaves, the buds of spring –

Such lovely things to hear and see. Belong to you, belong to me!

11. -You have prepared your own signs. The next task is to describe them. (Students say some sentences about nature, pollution, how to protect the environment).

12. -But what happens when the rules are broken?

15. -We think that you have learnt about the rules during the travelling, some signs, ecological problems. Now you know how you can help the Earth.

-Let’s sing a song “Mother Forest”

The forest is strong with a perfume so sweet

Such a perfect place to dream.

She feeds from the Earth, from the water and air

Mother nature, pure and green.

A humming bird sings high above,

Her feathers shine in the sun,

While deep in the jungle it’s cool and it’s dark,

And a tiger is feeling her young.
