       “Those  who  teach  are fairly called as our teachers, but in reality not everyone who teaches us  deserves  that  honourable  rank,” Johann Wolfgang Goethe  wrote.  Indeed, it’s the truth. Consequently, we’d better think of an answer to the  question : “What is a real teacher?”           

       Teaching is a profession that has always been relevant. As long as human civilization has been existing, society has always been forming definite intellectual and moral values, and the process of transferring that heritage to the subsequent generations of people has  always  been  carrying  out  by mentors and teachers. We can state that pedagogy as a science of upbringing and education younger generations  has  deep roots  that  goes back  to scientific achievements and is based on human traditions and needs of the state.

       Thanks to teachers, the process of  exploring the  Universe and the Man has been expanding. It’s quite important to mention that the basic knowledge, concepts and ideas are formed just at school. While studying, students get acquainted with great scientists, philosophers, writers, critics. I believe that being a teacher is a real vocation. Not every person will be able to master such a complex, responsible and humane profession as a teacher. School programs, goals and objectives of education are changing, new subjects are being introduced, principles of relationships in society are being revised, but still the core of these eternal huge social experiments  has ever been a teacher. So there is an actual question that must be answered : “What qualities should a modern teacher have?”

        First of all, a real teacher has got the rarest and most amazing ability to give his / her wise heart to children that is always turned to them, a teacher is completely saturated with a deep understanding of  his own responsibility for the fate of his students, he carries throughout his / her  life an unchanging respect for the most touching and defenseless period in a person's life, which we call as "Childhood  / Adolescence / Youth." In our school, for example, the teachers are so different: pretty young ladies who are just the beginners in their professional career, and those profound masters  who have been working  at our school for more than 40 years. Indeed, it’s hard to compare them and announce who is the best  because  each of them is brightly individual : they are quite different in their characters as well as in their appearance, they’ve got  various tempers and habits,  even beliefs, but they are all dear to us because we purely feel and respect their devotion  to our school that is always filled with their warmth and energy of creativity.

       In my opinion, the main goal of a modern teacher is not only to teach a student, but also to improve his / her knowledge and skills throughout the life. As times change and demands grow, much more is expected of the teacher. Generations change - the perception of this or that information changes too. It is necessary for a modern teacher to present a lesson in such a way  that it becomes relevant at once, so that a student will be able to apply this knowledge in the future. The teacher needs to follow the developing trends in many fields of science and use modern teaching technologies in order to meet the interests of every new generation of students and the demands of the time.

I think that a real teacher should be demanding and strict, his / her talent is to  make  each  student  think  and  solve  and overcome problems while studying; a teacher’s skill  is to  form  students’ ability  to be critical of their own thoughts and the thoughts of others. Every day a teacher is surrounded by hundreds of children who are watching him / her closely and trying  to  be  alike.  So,  the  examples  set by the teacher must fit into the framework of the highest level of  culture, reasonable thoughts and actions.

A teacher, like no one else, should own his emotions and manage his/her feelings, temperament, be an example for children. The teacher needs to be competent in psychology and  apply  these psychological  skills in order to build productive work with students at every lesson,  day after day, and up to the last school day. A teacher should never break down even at the behavior of the most notorious bully, to break out means to become like a low one. By the way, students are different – some of them are calm and quiet, though there are lots of bullies and provocateurs – nevertheless, a  teacher should level everyone's behavior. Everything that we encounter in the classrooms  and in the corridors of the school, we sooner or later will repeat in our later life. The teacher shows the limits of what is permissible and impossible, he lays in us not only knowledge, but also a part of his soul. Everyone’s success  starts  with  the  teacher!

       During the academic year, each student needs to learn a course on the subject. Since children are all different, the teacher should divide his attention on everyone, explain something, prompt, direct. Of course, it is not so easy to find an approach to everyone, but a teacher is a teacher for that, and he should not single out "favorites" from the class. The teacher needs to interest students in his subject, to convey its essence. The teacher must be a brilliant master the art of communicating with children. He should generate trust and deep respect in students, be an interesting person and an interlocutor. The teens will be happy to follow their teacher, they will show respect and perform tasks willingly.

       So it turns out that it is not given to everyone to teach others, because in this profession there is a mixture of contradictory qualities that are unbearable to an ordinary person. There should   be combined: morality and integrity, humanity and discipline, sociability and the ability to maintain the gained height. The main thing that should be in every teacher is the ability to remain a creator in every act and in every thought, the ability  to share  his/her  bright personality that  students are eager to follow, overcome and create, make discoveries, grow up and become personalities too. In general, the profession of a teacher is a great responsibility for every little life entrusted to him/her, who needs to be filled with high intellectual and moral content; that is  for what, years later, grateful students will always say "Thank you, our beloved teacher!"

Сочинение на тему: «Учить других – не каждому дано!»

         «Те, у которых мы учимся, правильно называются нашими учителями, но не всякий, кто учит нас, заслуживает это имя», — писал И. Гёте. И это действительно так. А давайте задумаемся, кем является учитель?

           Учитель - профессия, которая во все времена была актуальной. Сколько существует человеческая цивилизация, общество всегда формировало определенные интеллектуальные и нравственные ценности, а передача этого наследия последующим поколениям людей осуществлялась наставниками и учителями. Мы можем утверждать, что педагогика как наука о воспитании и образовании имеет глубокие корни, которые уходят в научные достижения и основываются на традициях и потребностях государства.

 Благодаря учителям расширяется представление о мире. В школе закладываются основные знания, понятия и представления о Вселенной и о Человеке. Знакомимся с великими учеными, философами, писателями, критиками. Я считаю, что быть учителем — это настоящее призвание. Далеко не каждый человек сможет освоить такую сложную, ответственную и гуманную профессию, как учитель. Меняются школьные программы, цели и задачи обучения, вводятся новые предметы, пересматриваются принципы взаимоотношений в социуме, но, все равно, стержнем всего этого огромного социального эксперимента является учитель. Возникает вопрос: «Какими качествами должен обладать современный педагог?»

            Прежде всего, настоящий учитель обладает редчайшим и удивительным качеством – у него мудрое сердце, которое всегда обращено к детям, учитель  весь пропитан глубоким пониманием собственной  ответственности  за судьбы  своих воспитанников, он проносит по жизни  неизменное уважение к самому чистому и беззащитному периоду становления людей, которое мы называем «Детством. Отрочеством. Юностью». В нашей школе, к примеру, учителя такие разные: только начинающие свой профессиональный путь, и такие, которые проработали в школе 40 с лишним лет. Они разные по характеру, по внешности, даже по убеждениям, но они нам дороги, потому что они преданны своему призванию, а наша школа всегда наполнена их теплом и энергией творчества.

            На мой взгляд, главная цель современного учителя -  не только обучать ученика, но и  самому обучаться на протяжении всей его жизни. Так как времена  меняются, а требования растут, то и  от учителя ожидают большего. Поколения меняются - меняется восприятие той или иной информации. Необходимо преподносить знания  так, чтобы они были актуальными, чтобы ученик знал, где он может эти знания применить в дальнейшем. Учителю необходимо следить за развивающимися тенденциями во многих областях знаний, быть современным, использовать на уроках современные технологии и методы преподавания, чтобы соответствовать интересам новых  поколений учеников и велению времени.

            Я думаю, что настоящий учитель должен быть требовательным, строгим, заставлять думать каждого ученика; учить критически относиться к собственным мыслям и мыслям других. Учитель каждый день окружен сотнями детей, которые на него смотрят, уважают и стараются в чем-то подражать, поэтому пример, который подаёт учитель,  должен вписываться в рамки высокой культуры, разумных помыслов и действий. Учитель, как никто другой,  должен управлять своими чувствами, темпераментом, быть примером для детей, владеть своими эмоциями. Учителю необходимо знать и обладать навыками психологии, которые помогут выстраивать продуктивную работу с учениками каждый урок изо дня в день на протяжении всего учебного года. Учитель никогда не должен срываться даже на поведение самого отъявленного хулигана, срываться — значит уподобляться низкому. Ученики бывают разные - спокойные и тихие, задиры и провокаторы -  учителю  следует нивелировать поведение каждого. Все, с чем мы сталкиваемся на уроках и в коридорах школы,  мы рано или поздно повторяем в нашей дальнейшей жизни. Учитель показывает границы допустимого и невозможного, он закладывает в нас  не только знания, но и часть своей души. С учителя начинается все!

             За учебный год каждому школьнику нужно усвоить курс по предмету. Так как дети все разные, то учитель должен разделить свое внимание на всех, что-то разъяснить, подсказать, направить. Разумеется, к каждому найти подход не так и легко, но учитель на то и учитель, и он не должен выделять из класса «любимчиков». Учителю нужно заинтересовать школьников своим предметом, донести его суть. Учитель должен владеть искусством общения с детьми. Он должен порождать в учениках доверие и глубокое уважение, быть интересной личностью  и собеседником. К такому учителю ребята будут рады идти, будут проявлять уважение и задания выполнять с охотой.

                Вот и получается, что учить других – не каждому дано, потому что в профессии педагога должны соединиться такие противоречивые качества, которые обычному человеку не под силу: нравственность  и принципиальность, гуманность и дисциплинированность, коммуникабельность и умение сохранять набранную высоту. Главное, что должно быть  в каждом учителе – это  способность оставаться творцом в каждом своем поступке и в каждой своей мысли, быть  личностью яркой, за которой хочется идти, преодолевать и создавать, совершать открытия, взрослеть и становиться человеком. В общем,  профессия учителя - это большая ответственность за каждую вверенную ему маленькую жизнь, которую нужно наполнить высоким интеллектуальным и нравственным развитием, за которое годы спустя благодарные ученики всегда скажут “Спасибо, наш дорогой учитель!»
