по теме: «Полезные и вредные привычки»

Конспект урока  «Полезные и вредные привычки» в 9 классе

       Цели:

  • пропагандировать здоровый образ жизни;
  • предупредить учащихся о вреде курения;
  • формировать у учащихся осознанное негативное отношение к алкоголю и наркотикам;
  • развить навыки принятия решений в личной жизни.

        Задачи:

  • приобщение учащихся к здоровому образу жизни;
  • распространить среди подростков информацию о том, к каким последствиям может привести употребление алкоголя и наркотиков, табакокурения;
  • помочь сформировать неприязнь к вредным привычкам;
  • показать преимущества здорового образа жизни.

                                                           Ход урока

  1. Начало урока. Приветствие. Введение в тему урока.

Good afternoon, children. How are you? Are you OK? Fine! I am very glad to see you so healthy and happy.

Children look at posters on the blackboard. Can you tell about these pictures?

 Today we are going to discuss good and bad habits and show what  way we can help our health.

  1. Фонетическая разминка.

  Children, do you like doing sports? Do you like fruits and vegetables? Do you want to be happy, strong, healthy?      ( ответы учеников)

  1. Повторение лексики по теме

Children could  you tell what bad habits do you know?  The pupils tell what bad habits they know.

  1. Развитие навыков чтения  с полным пониманием прочитанного. The pupils read the text and find some other bad habits.

When Bible set down the Seven Deadly Sins they were not meant to be taken literally. There are modern health sins which are in fact far more deadly.

   Two of them – obesity and physically inactivity are known from ancient times. They are joined by the modern bad habits: smoking and drinking alcohol, and the surprising “danger” of sleeping too much or too little, eating between meals and skipping breakfast. In combination, these poor health habits could double the chance of dying or lead to different diseases.

   Of course sleeping too much or too little, snacking and skipping breakfast are not quite as smoking, obesity and drinking. But they are indicative of dangerously chaotic lifestyle.

The pupils may name such results of bad habits as:

  1. Listen to the text and name good habits.

We must keep our bodies in perfect health. If our body suffers from any disorder, our mind suffers with it, and we can't make much progress in knowledge, can't  fulfil our duties well.

  There are some laws of health that people must follow.

   First of all, fresh air is necessary for our health. We should tidy up our rooms, spend as much time as possible in the fresh air. Our body should be clean.

Late hours are very harmful too because they exhaust the nervous system. We should go to bed early and get up early.

Exercising is very important too. People should do different sports. Sport holds an important place in our life. Sport help people to keep healthy. Sport makes people strong, disciplined. It build character.

Food is very important. People should be moderate in eating. They should eat more fruit and vegetables, cut out snacks and desserts.

The pupils tell how we can take care of our health

  1. Listen and express your opinion to what the 3 persons tell.

  1. Helen:

I am not going to be a supermodel. But I think it is very important to be fit and healthy and look nice. Some firms don't employ people who are overweight or who are smokers. I agree with that because smoking effects other people's life, too. I pay a lot of attention to my health. I try to eat only low-fat food, more fruit and vegetables, which are rich in vitamins and less sweets. I don't smoke. I don't want to have ungealthy skin and teeth. Besides, I have been doing aerobic for a year. I feel great. And all my friends think I look great.

  1. Bob:

I have no problems with my health. I am a smoker and a bit overweight. I like smoking. It helps me to relax. I have been smoking since I was 12. all my friends are smokers. As for dieting I think it is very dangerous. You are what you are. It is impossible to change. I like chocolate bars, ice-cream. Why should I give up such tasty things? Eat only cucumbers? Never! Of course I have some problems with my skin and hair, but I don't want to change.

  1. Kate:

I think people should choose for themselves if they want to be healthy – it's their life, it's their bodies. They are free to decide. It is not very good to think too much about your appearance but it is good to think about your health. I don't pay much attention to my friends health habits. My friend Willie likes sweets, he is pleasantly fat and I like him, he is very clever. He is good at computer. And Dennis is very sporty. He has been exercising all his life. He isn't as clever as Willie but he is nice. I like to have different people with different likes and dislikes as my friends.
